Well they were the winners of the show so the companies had to treat them nicely and give them a lot of stuff since they were the center of attention for their 1 year as a group. They couldn't give them dorms like the other groups have because of shows like this and because it would expose them too much... Like there was Pledis, JYP, Jellyfish, Starship, MBK and they can afford this dorm easily on their own, so them working together and giving their trainees a small dorm would cause an uproar in korea and they did not want that. Also MNET had some decision making as well I believe since the group was their idea and "their" creation and stuff like that... The companies were basically forced to treat them to this dorm xd
