The pugilist world is ruled by the powerful Wen clan, which dominates over the smaller Lan, Jiang, Nie and Jin households. The carefree Wei Wuxian becomes fast friends with the righteous Lan Wangji, and during their adventures, the pair find out that the head of the Wen clan is the evil mastermind behind a series of plots that would wreak havoc upon the lands.
Wei Wuxian’s attempts to protect the innocent members of the Wen clan from unfair persecution leads to disaster, and he goes MIA in the process. Wei Wuxian reappears sixteen years later, and works together with good friend Lan Wangji to solve a series of murder mysteries, eventually finding and defeating the true culprit. Based on the Moxiang Tongxiu's novel Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation.

I freaking love Wei Wuxian not because he is the main lead or good looking but for his morals his clear mind his strong believe in himself also how much this character relate with the Reality. He always speaks the truth of true reality. It's just heartbreaking that the truth he speaks only few people has the Ears to listen. And I am one of them. Wei wuxian u are my hero. I wanna be u when I grow old. I know I won't be strong as u but I will try my best to be 78% like u.

One of the 3000 rules in The Lan Clan is “you don’t have to restrain yourself in front of your own destined person.” Omg 😮 I just find out today! Lan Zhan didn’t do his hair and his out fit looks like a pajamas in ancient Chinese style! He is totally relaxed in front of Wei Ying, because Wei Ying is the destined person for Lan Zhan! I am loving this scene! I just Love how much detail the director has put in to make this drama so romantic! And I love these two boys!

Wei has a thing about "thank you's". He mentioned it while trapped in the cave with LZ in Episode 13. He didn't want to sound pretentious because he truly wanted to thank LZ and to tell him he was sorry. Even though Lan Zhan was lookin' 🔥hella hot 🔥 Wei knew it was not the moment to seem flirtatious. It was a moment for reflection and making an important decision concerning his and LZ's future actions.

I guess ages and occasions may decide it. It's obvious to see it changes in his youth and his middle age(joking：but Lan Zhan is more than 30 years old now). And his hair crown is more normal when at home(or maybe before Wei Ying or his brother) than in the public occasion. Hope these above will help you.

I think there is how they show he got the scar..i dont remember what eps But he got that scar bcause he save a girl (dont know which clan but the good one) from being stab with the iron thing by a girl from the evil clan (still dont know which clan but the evil one lol)

Actually its wwx that saved the girl mian mian at the cave and got the scar not lwj..if u read the novel after wwx died,lwj became extremely sad and bcoz of the grief losing wwx he begin to slipped away from his own principles,including no drinking alcohol. One day after coming back drunk lwj gave himself exactly the same scar like wwx.Lwj want to remember and understand wwx pains..and I think that why lwj has that scar but in the drama they didnt film what happened to lwj after wwx dead,they just went straight to 16years after when wwx have resurrected.
