無造作に手早く絵の具を置いている様に見えるのに完成するとシワや髭が鮮やかに浮かび上がり丸でマジックを見ている様です。凄いの一言です。

本当に大胆に、濃い色をどんどん置かれるので、どうなるのかなあと不安になってたら、いつの間にか油絵のように重厚な絵になっていて、吃驚しました。まるで魔法みたいです。

最初の方の色の塗り方が理解できるようになれる気がしない

普通は明るい色から暗い色に塗っていくのにこの人暗い色から置いてるから凄い…できる気がしない

一瞬油絵かと思うほどの色味、大胆であり繊細なタッチ、すべてが驚嘆に値する!!

絵が完成に向け出来上がっていく工程を見て、感動して目が潤んだ事など人生で初めてです。 とても心を動かされました！！

I just love this style of painting, so loose and expressive and full of rich complex colors and tones and just artistry and total mastery of the artist's chosen medium. This portrait is so beautiful, just stunning. His voice is so calming--"paint without hesitation, no stopping, don't be afraid of dark colors." These are exactly the things I'm afraid to do when I paint and what I need to hear. I feel so moved and inspired.

I really love how much personality this painting has- I just see this gentleman and can imagine meeting this world-weary but kind fisherman mending his nets by the shore after a long day. Like...you can just imagine what he would be like as a person, how he would talk, what kind of stories he would tell. I love this very much

はじめまして。私は絵を学んだことがなく、趣味でやっている者です。早速ですが、「目を描きすぎない」のところで涙しました。絵を見て泣いたのは初めてです。鳥肌も立ちました。私の固まった思考を変えてくださり誠にありがとうございます。先生のように生き生きと描いていきたいです。今日先生に出会えたことに感謝します。 水彩は難しそうで避けてきましたが、先生の絵を見て、とっても楽しそうだな…私も描いてみたいなぁと思いました。今度簡単な事から描き始めようかと思います。 絵を楽しむ先生のお姿は本当に素敵です。私もあまり深く考えずに、手がゆくままに、楽しく描けるようになりたいです。 最後に素朴な質問ですが、筆や絵の具は描く時にどれぐらい大事ですか？おうちにある安い筆と絵の具じゃ、やっぱり限界がありますかね…そして紙も気になります。やはり水彩専用の紙は必要とされますよね？ 返信頂けるととても嬉しいです…！宜しくお願い致します！

This video made me miss my late grandpa, he was also an artist but with a different type of painting. I would’ve painted with him but he was already too old by the time I was born to move his hands as well as he could before. Thanks for being a grandfather figure mr.shibasaki :)
