It's called drama for a reason. It's not going to be happy all the time. It is also why these series are so popular. Sunshine, lollipops, puppy dogs and comedy gets boring after a while too. You could of stopped watching when you made your comment............but I bet you watched it to the ending and was satisfied with it, right.

I don't believe how the story transitioned into the different storylines that all come together seamlessly. Kudos to writers and actors for bringing drama to life. Can't sleep. runyu become more and more annoying, I respect him backthen when his mother dead he had no choice but to avenged his poor mother, but he's already got the highest position and still trying to harm his brother just because of a woman. it's not xufeng's fault that he's being spoiled by his parents, and everyone love and loyal to him. despite all of this xufeng never try to harm runyu eventhough he insist on marrying jinmi, he's still respect and trying to talk it nicely with runyu. it's as if runyu try to blame xufeng for all of his pain,when the truth was it's the late empress&emperor that makes him suffer not xufeng.
