Here, Kamiya-san and OnoD-san talked about Levi's childhood in Season 3 Part 1.
I've been digging around for this one to find the full episode and I finally found it!

Kamiya-san and Ono-san would regularly talk about the animes they are doing during the broadcast and during this time, they did a lot of discussions on AOT. I find them to be really fun!

Isayama also once said that out of all the characters, Levi is actually the most emotional- but because of the environment he grew up in, where emotions can be seen as weakness, he's so used to hiding it and keeping himself composed.

Best example of him being the most emotional is when he was just straight walloping that guy in the streets as Kenny watched on. There was a mixture of fear and anger in his wide eyes.

Wow I got pretty shocked too!! So, the year Kenny "adopted" Levi was 829 and he was 4 year's old... On season 1 (850) he was ...25? Lol I thought he was already on his 30's

And the director's decision was correct, thank you! OnoD definitely can play kid roles, his Jyushimatsu's voice is amazing afterall Lmao HiroC definitely read Kaji Yuki and Shimono like a book, they indeed like to mess around in AoT radio xD

Yeah that makes sense if you just focus on the character's emotions and mental state while saying the lines it would make it easier, no matter what age. So funny with them mentioning AoT radio too! I could totally see that in character too having Levi and Erwin have their own more serious radio channel and then Eren and Conny having a goofy one! Thanks again!

didnt expect for kamiya to mention law (tho which i thought of as well) my heart wasnt ready for that. i laughed so hard at the ending it’s true that shimokaji are pretty chaotic together 😆 anyway, thank you so much for this!!! 💓

I wanted to feature discussions from other VAs than the usual main casts but Kamiya-san and Ono-san really hardly appear on any talk shows/events...Kamiya-san only had one appearance on AOT Radio (season 1) and Ono-san never even appeared once! They often did really in-depth discussion for AOT on DGS so I thought it's a perfect opportunity to feature them here 😊

yeah I finally found the full raw episodes of the shorts. And as I expected, it was better for me to listen to the full discussions first before translating. I'll try my best to translate and post them in the near future 😊

So if he's four when Kenny found him (sometime in 830) then he was only 18 when he joined the Survey Corps, 24 in s1-s3, 28 in s4 and only 31 at the end of the series?! And here I thought he was pushing 40 lol

@@naisaShip I'm not entirely sure either since his canon age/birth year was never given. I just did the math. But I think he's around 9-11 in 830 (he's just smaller since he's malnourished)

Yes I beleive this was around 2018. AOT Radio is currently on hiatus as the anime is on hiatus as well - should be airing again once the anime resumes

This is not aot radio, though. Kamiya and OnoD have been having their own radio show for over 10 years where they discuss the characters they voice, since they're usually a pair, like Levi and Erwin.

I don't think I can do the tiktok live one unfortunately since there isn't any raw that's sub-able (I totally just made that word up) so, apologies in advance for that. But I am actually looking into translating M*ppa Stage. I don't want to put your hopes up just yet as I can't really guarantee that I could (I've a list of other future uploads mid-translation atm). Rest assured though, the interest is there 😊
