The danger of the Black Hole Cluster isn't just that it's a black hole. It's a black hole with no event horizon - meaning it has an exposed singularity. And according to the "cosmic censorship hypothesis", the universe simply will not allow this to occur or else causality and physics itself will break down. Regular Granzon's ultimate attack is basically dividing by zero and getting an actual answer rather than an error. _Neo's_ final attack is "create _three_ black holes with exposed singularities, squash them together and throw the result of THAT at the enemy"!

TheXIIIth but for real though, time stop could kill shu, just remember he was defeated by masaki in OG taisen with the sword stabbing the pilot room. This could happen easily with time stop ability.

Shu was sandbagging in that fight and was going against your entire team. He can lose, and he has lost straight up a few times (that time, the start of Masoukishin F, on one or two of the other Masoukishin games’ routes), but it’s questionable if time stop powers can help them get past his absurd barrier.

Don't forget that there's an intrinsic link between gravity and time. The more gravity you're under, the slower time is for you. Even in one of Shu's battle lines he references that, "It might have been just a moment for you, but for us it was an eternity." Since the Granzon seemingly seems to be completely capable of manipulating gravity infinitely with it's antimatter engine, it could be argued that the Larseilam wouldn't be able to completely freeze Granzon when Shu's in a position to prepare for it. I would still assume that under the effects of Larseilam that Granzon would effectively be slowed and it's offense would be hindered due to having to manipulate gravity to shield itself constantly.

it would be an issue if granzon need to manuever normally like other mecha. But you see granzon have ability to manipulate wormhole to reatreat or doing worm smasher attack that wont be affected much by the time manipulation.

could the Neo Granzon possibily not affected by the Larseilam ? its not a hax stop time power of those other God of time, chrono stuff like from other series right, its still just a system ?

@@arx3516 Yeah, the more gravity you're in, the more time passes, relative to places with less gravity, more or less in a very basic sense. So every time Shu is using those big black hole attacks, from his perspective it's taking forever - luckily everyone else has stopped moving for the entire time, a combination of the time dilatation and relativity stuff, and the fact everyone is frozen in fear! It also might explain why Shu was happy to fight the Fury while they use the Larseilam, his gravity manipulation can give him a theoretical near time stop ability. Makes you wonder how old Shu really is, biologically. And it's no wonder he generally has everything figured out, he's got more than enough time to think everything through!

I wait until Shu's either legitimately been smacked around enough to be in danger of getting shot down, or until he's completely out of energy in order to benefit the most from the free Resupply/Repair that transforming does for him.

What I really love is that the familiars are representative to their partners. This means that to some degree deep down Shu Shirakawa takes a very youthful glee in what he does and that side is displayed through Chika. So while he might outwardly scold Chika, deep down in his heart he's agreeing with them. XD

How about this line; Chika : "Cheat no Granzon no chikara, omoishirasete goran yo!"(Behold the most broken mecha in history! Neo Granzon!) Shu: "Chika, doko e sono kotoba oboite desuka?"(Chika, where did you learn to speak like this?) That was from the previous version of this game. They mixed it up a bit this time.

The fact Shu cant stan dChika speaks how ironic it is given how Familiars are a refelction of the persom who summoned them. He essentially cant stand himself

It's actually the continuation from the OG-Gaiden where we concluded a showdown with Shu after he absorb Darkbrain's matter, after his defeat, Volcruze reserrected him back in La-Gaiz along with refroming his Old Granzon back to it shape, but this time unbeknownst to Volcruze itself that Shu no longer under its influence so Shu set off to improve his good old Granzon with the help of cult priestess and princess using technology in La-Gaiz his finally can remodel his Granzon into Neo using prana gimmick, and no longer need the energy of dying star to fuse them anymore TL;DR it's the good old one but decked out to its brim. Still funny when he present Neo Granzonn in front of Volcruze and they loose their shit, trying to sacrifice its priestess to match up but to no avail as Shu basically took her virginity since day 1 she started accompany him, give a big-o-middle finger to the Demon god itself and proceed to crush them like a bugs

The event horizon *is* the point of no return for a black hole. Once you cross it, you're basically dead...your body will be ripped apart atom by atom as the inescapable gravity pulls you in.

Super Robot Wars has always played fast and loose with the attack animations and how much collateral damage there is/isn't. Look at how many units spontaneously generate mountains and rocky deserts in space, or how things like the Free Electron Cannon assume you're on Earth, or any number of other goofy impossibilities are on-hand for attacks. Similarly gameplay-wise major bosses could eat as many as a dozen Degeneracy Cannon shots before actually going down, even though setting details and actual physics suggests a single shot would annihilate a huge chunk of a planet. Most likely the actual "canon" of what happened doesn't involve Shuu repeatedly firing unrestrained planet busters, but SRW has always been a series that thumbs its nose at restraint and laughs at the mere concept of overkill preferring instead to take the tact that the more bombastic the animations are the better. God bless Banpresto.

Not really. Great Zeo is stronger as it has a better map. Shuu had Warp Field and his ace bonus, so he's far more defensive. Like seriously I haven't seen him go below a third health.

There are definitely similarities between Neo Granzon/Granzon and Zeorymer/Great Zeorymer. The biggest one in my eyes is comparing the pointblank Black Hole Cluster to Hades Attack.

Rabidhura Brightsmile Puppylove Shu basically was forced to serve a god until he died. Said god brought him back to life. Shu exploited the loophole of only serving until death because he had died and was brought back. He then killed the god. All a part of Shu's plan.
