I'm 27 and I just got married, people kept thinking I was too young to get married... age is relative and you will always be 'young' to those on a different frequency. Its not the age, it's that's it doesn't match with their ideal standards.

I feel that if a proposal is a complete surprise, it’s a bit of a worry. When you think about it, it kind of means that one person is on a very different page with regard to the relationship.

Honestly I get the all the significances of wearing an engagement/wedding ring on our ring finger... But I know that I’ll be wearing mine (one day when it happens hahah) on a necklace A) cause any rings I’ve worn end up scratched to bits and with stones falling out cause I just don’t live life gently I guess? So this kind of ring is for sure the last I’d wanna damage in any way! And B) cause I feel the the necklace keeps it hanging close to your heart and so it has a similar sweetness to the ring fingers heart connection? And when I go to touch/fiddle with my necklaces it feels like a grounding, almost hand-to-heart gesture and overall I feel like wearing your ring on a necklace is just as powerful and beautiful as wearing it on your hand 💖❤️

If you need a temporary solution for your ring, you can go on eBay and get a ring size adjuster that will make it a bit smaller. I’ve seen someone use the plastic spiral one :)

I’m just stating the true facts.... It’s their faith and having sex before marriage is a sin within their “Christianity belief”. Hence why they’re choosing to get married young, and of course I do believe they are happy as well.

That is definitely not why we are getting married young 😂 like I said in the video, we don’t have to justify ourselves. But I don’t think it’s appropriate to assume someone would make one of the biggest decisions of their lives based on sex. At least that’s not what our decision is based on. 👍🏼

Have a first look and get all your couple/romantic photos taken before the ceremony. Perfect make up , less waiting time for guests and it seems so intermit just a you two thing before all the eyes 😘

I was nervous about walking down the aisle and having everyone staring at us too! (I hate attention on me 😜) I was so nervous standing outside the chapel, but as soon as the doors opened and I was my husband at the alter all the nerves just faded away. Didn’t think twice about everyone staring because all I saw was him. 💗

I know you said you wouldn't stack it at the moment which is understandable, when you do get married and have a wedding ring to go with it try and make sure it's the same type of metal (ie- if it's a 9ct white gold ring get the same, or 18ct, etc) . if you put a 9k ring next to an 18k ring or just generally put two different types of metals together in that sense they'll rub together and it'll wear down faster than it normally would. not to say it would happen right away but just in the general sense. congratulations!

I know it’s obviously unique to you as a couple, but how much roughly were you wanting to have saved before getting married? Was it for the wedding specifically, or also to make sure you had savings to support yourselves? Would be super helpful for other gals in similar situations to know a ballpark figure that works for you guys specifically 🥰 Also, were conversations with the family awkward at all when discussing marriage? No need to justify ring to anyone. One issue is that, the vast majority of people minds, change drastically from when they’re in their 20’s. To when they’re in their 30’s40’s. If you read this you will think, no the way I think now is the way I will always think. Those are the same thoughts everyone else has or had in their 20’s.

So true about ring shopping! My boyfriend and I went ring shopping two months ago (knowing we want to get married sometime soon) to figure out my style because I had no clue! 😂 Anywho, turns out I'm very classic solitaire style with rose gold (and small diamond!). He just bought the ring the other day so who knows when the proposal will be! 🤷🏻‍♀️. That's up to God and His timing!! Thank you, Jesus, I can have patience and peace! 🤗 It is okay to go ring shopping!!! My sister is the one who suggested it and I am very very grateful! It's certainly a giddy feeling when you find the right one, at least it was for me and I am not really a jewelery kind girl!!

omg okay so this is going to be so hard to explain over a comment but when you said that you were excited to not have to say goodbye I was ready to cry. Okay, so... My mom and my stepdad had been in a relationship for a few years already and they were already engaged. Him and his sons lived about 45 minutes away from us so we started spending the weekends at their house. Long story short, one night, he thought my mom was already asleep so he wrapped his arms around her and whispered, "Just wait baby, one day we won't have to say goodbye anymore. One day we will have our house together and be married and never have to say goodbye again." Now they're married and we all live together under one roof and as hectic as it can get sometimes, I wouldn't trade it for the world because I know that my mom is so incredibly happy. Anyways, that is one of my favorite stories ever and I hope you read it and enjoy. Sending blessings your way!
