I understand Jacob about 'hanger'. I had to learn what my body does to signal hunger, since I don't feel it in my stomach until it's way too late. I've also spent years learning to tell the difference between 'hunger' and 'thirst', and am only just starting to figure it out. I am 42 years old.

Here's a fun tip: *ALL* chocolate has a higher amount of lead in it than most foodstuffs, also cadmium. The cadmium comes from chocolate just being grown in regions with cadmium-rich soil and there's not much that can be done about that. However, you get the lead from the beans being dried and fermented on the ground, where the shells attract and pick up lead from the soil (which comes from remains of leaded gasoline and lead paint, which are a lot less banned in other regions of the world), and as the beans are mechanically broken open, the lead gets into the chocolate. Note that Swiss Miss (and also Ghiradelli) were not *absent* heavy metals, they simply were below the legal limit, whereas the other brands were found to have gone over that limit.

1:53:30 As an unpaid music promoter for all my favorite bands, my favorite band that sounds better live is Halestorm!!! I am completely biased because they grew up in my hometown and got their start there but OMG! They did a concert a few years back at the state fair of their hometown and I had to go, and the leader singer Lzzy LITERALLY sounds exactly like she does in the recorded version and goes the extra mile during live shows to make it like 100 times better. The whole band is freaking awesome and it's so dope to see a band that can literally one-take their songs with basically no differences between the raw and cleaned up versions. I was completely hypnotized during their set 🤣

My first front to back great album was Fallen by Evanescence. It still holds firm as one of my favorites to this day

You talking about albums reminded me of a band I saw this past year. They were opening for another band I love (Icon for Hire) and their sound was so good. I usually buy the albums they have for sale at their merch tables but when I got to listening to it, it was a lot more sedate than I expected or really wanted. The band is Hooked Like Helen and they are fantastic live.

My best firstish album was Tool Lateralus. I unpack in spurts, where I go full Julia for a little while and then crash out for a day or three. And I also think popcorn is S-tier.

If we're talking music, I got MASSIVELY into Sleep Token this year. I'm autistic and it immediately developed into a special interest for me, I love love LOVE their entire discography. I still enjoy other bands I listened to before finding Sleep Token, but man oh man they just wormed their way into my heart as soon as I sat down and listened to them for the first time. Music is one of the ways I stim, and it just stratches that stim itch SO good. Love them silly lil guys. 💙

The Boxer made me cry in the best ways and was had the most amazing build up in every arc. Unholy Blood was one I read about the same time and it was epic as well. Wild how different the genres were but the stories were so well designed.

Uji also makes some of the best teas, just like Yame. Both Gyokuro and Matcha are specialties (special-teas) of Uji.

Have y'all played Unpacking? It's a relatively short game with very skillful pixel art and it's about putting all the main character's belongings away in her various houses over the years. Great environmental storytelling and I think there are some aspects of it in particular that I don't want to say in advance, but I think you'd enjoy.
