I'm always just so surprised they used REAL food onstage. Maybe it's just my stage acting experience where we never used, pretended or had fake food. I wonder how many times they had to eat the same thing, or they just ate real food during the live performances.....

what i LOVE ABT THIS SCENE is that i watched the haikyuu engeki projection stage play before this (this scene thats playing rn is part of the karasuno: revival! stage play which is basically a redo of the projection stage play with minor alterations, and this scene is in both versions) and you can really see how the directors gave them like a general script and told them to just kinda go wild and have fun bc yeah, generally, the words n stuff are the same but in the old one, when yams says “gommen tsukki” tsukishima hits him in the head and he goes tumbling, and when yams goes “idiots?! you better not be talking abt tsukki!” he doesn’t push them like he did here. coach ukai doesn’t throw the book at ennoshita, and tanaka doesn’t step on tsukkis hand. hinata doesn’t push ukai like he did when talking abt them being a “real volleyball team” and kageyama doesn’t step on hinata when he says he got rejected (its like they upped the chaos in the redo 😭😭✨) its genuinely so funny to see them just having fun and each crowd that got to watch their show had a slightly different and unique experience bc there’s only general guidelines and dialogue they need to follow but they can go crazy 😭💖
