My husband and I were 22 years old when he died, of Leukemia. I was with him every day of his journey to heaven. I promised him I would never marry again. It's been 30 years, our twin sons just turned 30, and I look forward to the day I can hold his hand again as I did all his dying days. This song breaks me and makes me cry as I did that day he left me. It reminds me of this perfect man God sent to me. Soon, we will be together again. ❤❤🙏🙏

Yesterday I had the opportunity to take my wife to see Engelbert sing live one more time to celebrate our 42nd. anniversary. This great singer, despite having physical problems, has not lost anything of his great voice. Best of all, my wife was thrilled to see her favorite singer so close to her. Time shouldn't go through this kind of stars that make us happy, and at the same time make us dream awake. Let's keep listening to Mr. Engelbert Humperdinck so that he will never be forgotten by the new generations.

I'm 78 yrs old and have completely full filled my moral obligations from my children's and fortunately they have their own carrer, So this is my business oftentimes listening old but goodess song's over a cup of coffee recalling past memories of my youngsters day's. It's wonderful 2 hear. I enjoyed it.

Я был на его концерте, когда ему было 73 года и он завершал свое европейское турне: 20 песен, 2 отделения, никакой подтанцовки, только оркестр 8 чел, бакенбарды Хампердинка, а на нем смокинг без единого лишнего миллиметра и ... чарующее пение великого романтика эстрады!! Друзья, это было такое возвращение в молодость!! 👍✌️

Давно не слышала песен Энгельберта Хампердинка. Вспоминаю детство, юность, когда из каждого окна неслась песня. Какие были романтики: Том Джонс, Энгельберт Хампердинк,сколько было прекрасных итальянских певцов, французских. Одна моя любимая "Я люблю"(не знаю, как пишется на французском, но по русски "же тем") в исполнении Джейн Биркин и Сержа Генсборо чего стоит. Услышала ее первый раз в классе 7 и влюбилась. Спасибо за воспоминания и хорошую музыку.

@@wade1419 At my father's place because he got sick at that time (influenza) and since she was living with her brothers very close, she was asked to help to him . My grandmother was dead and the 2 of them ( my father and my grandfather )have been living alone. So since she got there, it was a real love at first sight!
