I was about 9 years old when I first heard about Englebert and my aunt had pretty much all of his albums. Whenever my parents went to visit her I'd borrow the records from her. At almost 88 years old he still sounds wonderful

Some of the song was my Dad’s favourite, he was always listening to it every morning or evening, he would be the same age as him if he were still alive, so this bring back all my memories about my Dad.

My grandma is in hospital right now because of Covid and kidney failure, she’s 96 years old and I grew up listening to this songs with her. She only have her caregiver with her right now because of hospital restrictions. I sent her this video hoping she’ll find happiness and strength to survive her sickness. She’s very old but her admiration to Engelbert is one of her secrets for having a long and happy life. Thank you for your music!

I simply cannot express how great it was to watch this concert. I have been a fan forever. I lost my husband of 54 years just a few months after the passing of your beloved wife. I have been obsessed with listening to you remembering so many great memories. We attended your concerts in NY whenever you came to Westbury and loved them all. Thank you! My mother-in-law, also 86yo, was ecstatic when I showed her your videos especially this one. She turned all-smiles, nostalgic, reminiscing her good old days. In his prime, not only could Englebert sing like few others, he had an incredible knack of recognizing great, obscure songs, bringing to life so many wonderful songs that otherwise would have been lost in the fray. He also had the knack of finding the very best orchestras to back him up. Now in his late 70's, his passion and love for music still shines through big time. Englebert, I give you my profound thanks for all the great memories and you continue to surprise me. You are one of the very few who had me singing along with some of your songs even though I am not much of a singer.

I was born in 1966 and I grew up with your records playing at home. My mum and dad were big fans of yours. I'm a professional musician and singer now playing mostly Jazz but am always called on to do your songs. I've got about 8 of your classics in my repertoire and it never fails to make the audience happy, young and old. Bless you Englebert, many musicians here in Malaysia and I will carry on your legacy.
