Engine arrival (special): Colin, Lily and Adam

Year: 1929
What happened on the W&S section between 1923-1929? A mix of friendship, rivalry, competition, and replacements. Colin, Lily, and Adam are initially concerned about being replaced, but their controller, now director of the LMS section, assures them that he has no intend to get rid of them. However, with worsening health, he has to step down, leading to a replacement arriving, changing the whole idea of the operation on the section

I’ve got an idea why not Donald and Douglas would’ve worked the LMS Sodor section before being transferred to Barrow and the surrounding region, and when the line headquarters were transferred over to Tidmouth Donald and Douglas were used for the north western railway.

Actually it’s because Stanley preferred his sliver paint compared to the usual color scheme which the W&S trio held as a grudge.

Jesus wept. There were other old engines, like Edward, Henry and Gordon, but they acted nothing like Lily, Colin and Adam. What the hell made those three so stuck up? And if they'd been acting like that for a long time, why didn't Nathaniel reprimand them? What a lousy controller
