You're a legend mate. Replaced both my engine mounts today thanks to watching this video. Grabbed the uni joint, extension bar and 18mm socket. For those without an impact gun, don't panic. I did mine with 13mm and 15mm ratchet spanners with a pipe for a breaker bar. WD40 is a must. Thank so much FordMercGuy!

If you’re doing this on an AU or coil pack car you will have to take off the coil pack and leads first, what fun! I cracked the top nut just with grunt and swearing, they cracked pretty easy, no need for a rattle gun.

Remove the Air Box completely... there are only 3 little bolts(8mm socket) holding it on. Then you can get a breaker bar on the top bolt of the engine mount to release it (I tried the uni-joint socket method and ending up just destroying the socket) For the side nut, take off the oil filter completely (after draining the oil). It makes getting to it with a breaker bar from the top way easier.

Be careful using the sump as your jacking point and impact guns are best matched with impact sockets & extension bars as they will break. Great result regardless, saved $$$, you know it is done properly plus the beer or smoke when your finished always tastes twice as good.

The Ozito comes with a 13mm impact. The $199 ozito comes with 10 impact sockets 4.0 ah battery and a 5 yr warrenty 3 on battery. You can also do the front brakes on Falcons and Territories and use it on 21mm hex standard ford scissor jacks. Good bit of kit

Great Video, Did mine today. Mechanically minded however you may have saved my radiator by disconnecting the hose. I to have that same Ozito Rattle gun. Best thing since sliced bread, Undid the top 18mm with it too. I own an engine hoist so I used that as well as jack the car. Drivers side is easy, Passenger side Jack it, axle stand... Remove front left wheel and with the flex coupler, extension rattle gun on the 13mm as you said.. Perfect.

Hi mate have to be put in gear so that the acceleration load is put through the engine and transmission assembly properly that's it always worth the effort and the time and money solving oil leaks

I cut the thing in half... Makes things much easier to put back in ... But still gives the Manifold / Turbo System support. NOT FUNNY AT ALL !!! :( The Turbo Side Mound was turning in to a lump of Carbon from the heat.
