Best method to maintain your engine oil level is to change entire engine oil after 5000km with new engine oil . In USA, most of the car or Suv users follow this method become after 5000 km engine oil looses it's protective abilities to protect the engine of a car or suv. VOLKSWAGEN OR SKODA india is using castrol engine oil as it's official engine oil for all it's vehicle in india. Make sure you change it with company recommended engine oil which is mentioned in your booklet.

VW INDIA started using Shell oil now….. And I switched to Liqui Moly Toptec 4100 ….. I change oil every 10k kms…… which is more than enough for fully synthetic oil

@@JeelShihora in kerala VW and Skoda dealership use castrol engine oil. I am using currently vw polo and I have seen castrol drum in vw service center live few days ago with vw , skoda and Audi logo on the top of the drum .

I have skoda fabia diesel 1.2, in recent service I filled castrol synthetic oil 4.5 L. After 4000 to 5000 km I came to know that oil level is too down and not again refilled 3 litre (to match the guage as per disptick). Can you please suggest me what to do?

Get your car checked with Good Mechanic…… If car is consuming too much oil then there would be the problem of damaged Piston Rings or Turbo or something else also

Yes they are reliable if maintained well ….. my Vento clocked 90k kms without any issues

@@ravindradaundkar9905safety rating sirf ek fake propoganda hai , 3 star aur 5 star me 19-20 ka diff hota hai. Gncap never says that person will die in 3 star car and will come out scratchless in 5 star. It depends simply on seating position of driver also

@@Royal_5665 No, after collective database and continuous analysis using accident videos and articles I can confirm that a 5 star rated car passenger has more probability surviving an accident than a poor rated car. At least somebody is measuring something in safety investing millions and providing us the information unlike the assholes who doesn't care about lives of their customers in front of profits. You can call it propaganda but I am not taking any chances about my family's safety.

bhai mere pas 1.6D vento hai aur usme oil pressure light ati rhti hai bar bar tez drive krne pe but no effect on performance...suggest something.

Kindly go and check whether your oil pressure sensor is correctly working or not ( check it's tightness also) and if it's correct, then your oil level might be too low to touch the sensor while engine is revving high

Tappet cover cost will be around 7-8k original…. And Liqui Moly Toptec 4100 5W40 is great engine oil

There is no such problem in vw cars i owm polo petrol and i have run that car with no engine oil for years. And at every annual service when the service center guy does the oil change then i see the engine oil doesn't even gets black. This issue is only with the 1.5 tdi not even with the 1.2 tdi.
