Low compression means bad rings, bad head gasket seal or warped head, scratches on the cylinder sleeve, bad valve timing or, in the worst case, cracked engine block. If the compression is low, you can add about half a teaspoon of oil in the cylinder and check compression again. If the compression goes up, it means work rings. Your bike can have bad pick up even if compression is perfect. Additional causes of bad pick up include, bad ignition timing, weak spark, restricted airflow, contaminated fuel, bad fuel pump, insufficient fuel delivery, a bad sensor or a bad ECU if your bike as sensors and or ECU.

Very expensive. Pulsar 220 ke hisaab se kafi low compression hai. It must be around 130+ psi this simply means Piston rings have been fried in your bike. Do wet compression test, readings will increase.

Pulsar 220 removal of fairings, shock absorbers and rear suspension and reinstallation. If you really have the time you can actually make a whole body stripping video for pulsar 220 where you take out every part from the chassis and show the frame and put the whole bike together again for educational purposes.

To find actual compression Multiply compression ratio to 14.7 which is atmospheric pressure. For example pulsar 220 compression ratio is 9.5:1. So multiply 9.5 to 14.7 and then you get 139.6 psi as an actual compression. So this rules is applied on all bikes.

But compression may change for older bikes..as the engine may have experienced more wear and tear..maybe the rings have gone bad..so.compression depends on various factors and changes from bike to bike

For pulsar 220, this compression is too low. It should be 9.5 PS or 125 kg/cm at least...

Check the rpm of your bike after it start, it should 1.5 in neutral. If it is not then increase idling of the bike by idling screw. Increse fuel qty in carborator
