Hello Sahaj, thank you for sharing this video! I was quite confident about purchasing the Tata Altroz Diesel XT, but after watching this video, I have serious reservations. I am currently driving a CNG car, and given the Altroz's impressive diesel mileage, I was leaning towards the diesel variant. However, if the situation is as depicted in the video, I may need to reconsider and stick with CNG option.

Very true. I have the same problem with Tata Altroz diesel. The indicator comes on, lot of smoke is emitted. The car gets raised. Shown it to dealer twice, lodged complaint first in aug 23 with Tata motors customer care but no respite. The problem could neither be diagnosed nor resolved. I was told by dealer that it is a problem in all Altroz diesel cars. They advised to drive at 30- 40 km per hour on highway and problem will go automatically. Which was very unsatisfactory. The car was in warranty period. Then again the same problem recurred in Feb 24. I again wrote to dealer and Tata motors customer care. They inspected the car. Now saying that there is problem in injectors due oil mixing with diesel and lot of carbon emissions. They asked me to change 2 nozzles. The warranty period has expired. The expenses are to be borne by me. Its unfair as they could not diagnose and resolve it when the problem occurred during warranty period. There is definitely an engine problem in altroz diesel and Company must rectify it and help customers who buy Tata products with Emmons faith and trust.

Facing same issue with my Altroz XZ. It shows DPF and Engine check warning and the. Doesn’t go above 2000 rpm. Diesel is mixing in oil and oil levels are unusually high.

Altroz me urea solution nahi hai Jo ki catalytic converter ke sath kaam karta hai, islie Jo filter hota hai wo bar bar jam ho jata hai

Still tata service centers doesn't confirm how this oil is mixing with oil.. they will replacing injectors and o2 sensors twice and updating the ecm.. somebody was telling that the excess fuel injecting is leaking through the piston rings and mixing with the oil.. but it decreases the engine lifespan
