some of the plans they had sounded outrageous like building a barge around the temple, I personally think they should've used those hydraulic jacks, that would've been an amazing sight to see such a huge monument raised all at once :D

if they did the dome idea, they wouldn't really have to let it flood. there could have been stairs for people to see the temple

This seems to be a waste of time and money. The temple itself can be scanned for a 3D model, and the hyrogliphics can be decifered and stored into a memory unit. As technology expands, the key is to create stuctures that can be salvaged for new use. A temple of this proportion is a true sandstone masen's legaxy, yet sandstone cannot be re-used in the event of the stucture sustaining futher damage. These engineer's should come together and create bio-stuctures for vegitation in harsh conditions.

I don't understand why they are willing to waste so much money on preserving an old temple that deserves to be underwater. From the looks of it, nothing will be cheap. There are so many better things that can be done with that money.
