I'm not a football supporter, never have been and I'm unable to claim to understand the nuances of the game, however I really enjoy watching these incredible ladies play. It's an entire team effort and likewise the fans they attract conduct themselves in a respectful manner with no violence or offensive chants. This is the standard, the heart, the passion, the class we should accept for the national game. Its not about bringing it home, but the manner in which it is done. These ladies are a class act.

@@MultiBurger1 We have a squad of 22 players. The manager picks 11 to play. So every team we field is squad strength. Does it have to be the same 11 each game? Rotate a couple of players every game and it doesnt matter who we field, we still win. Strength in depth.

The rain a few days prior slowed the game down a bit. Lionesses also had a new-ish team. However, wow what a win against the former World Champions to go 22-3-0. Ebony Salmon is a speed freak, that run and assist was insane. Fantastic for Park to score in her debut. Toon, Daley and Kelly with three cracking goals. Bring on Norway. Hopefully 8-0 again lol.

@@Br0die_ America is scary...They are a very physically fit team , very fast. But their record v top 12 teams is poor. L 2-1 to England , L 2-0 to Spain , L 2-1 to Germany. You can say that England " only " won 2-1 , but England keep beating top 12 teams. Usa keep losing to top 12 teams.

@@fUNNY-do6rb There is plenty of competition. England dont win every game 10-0. In eleven of their games they have scored 2 or less goals , except a 3-1 over Germany. P 11 - W 7 - D 4 - L 0 = GF 15 - GA 6. Thats 11 close games. You think the games against Germany Spain and Usa were walkovers ?

Two of those goals came about by the Japan side being careless. The second goal by weak clearing out and the fourth by the rundown: the defender clearly just playing keep away instead of deciding to control the ball. Lapses in judgement. But I fully expect to see England v Spain for the Cup.

You dont have to out play the other team to win. If they make mistakes , pounce on them. At the end of the game , the final score counts. Would be nice to see great play by England , but if we get goals from the other teams mistakes, so be it. Its another win. And the way England are playing , its win , after win , after win.

@@davidknowles3459 Since 24th June 2022 England have played 7 top 12 teams. And won every game. It does not mean we will win the World Cup next July , or even the next game we play. We beat the Usa because they made two mistakes. You could say we beat Spain and Germany through determination. Top two teams so it's going to be close, very close. But we are winning. Through the other teams mistakes , or through determination, or through our skill. Maybe a combination of all three. But we are winning every game , so far, and the other top teams are not. That must mean something. And after every game i thank Sarina Wiegman , because i'm loving this England team :)

Well, the weather here is cold and damp for a start. The Pinatar arena in southern Spain is drier and warmer. European teams use it for training. Google it, you'll find a lot of football games there. And Wembley isnt just for football games, lots of other events on.

I strongly believe #1 Miss. YAMASHITA Ayaka is 100% capable to block the 1st and 2nd goal. By reading her body language, it seems like her vision takes time to adjust to the lighting system. No disrespect but just for making sure she has no hidden medical issue, may be JFA could consider to take her to see some specialists. On top of that, may be Mr. NISHIIRI Toshihiro (GK Coach) could consider to add some night drills of 10 to 20 degree shooting angle with ball launching machines placed at 20 to 30 yards from both goal posts with random strobe LED lights attached on it. If Mr. NISHIIRI watched Senegal vs Egypt (CAF qualifier of Qatar World Cup), then he'll fully understand why I made those suggestions. Just my 2 cents. Thank you so much. Let's go, Nadeshiko!!
