Change the title then it's not 10 goals of any kind its 4. As much as i respect Russo & the back heel people need to move on it's hardly the greatest goal ever. I've see reverse bicycle kicks far better. There's also the bronze lob pass (Women's Friendly Match. England vs Netherlands (06.24.2022)) to I think Hemp that ended up going in the far top corner & bronze just shrugs epic.

The Lionesses have reignited my love of football (which had been severely diminished by the greed and cheating in the mens game). Toones ice-cool composure when she's just come on in a major final in front of almost 90,000 fans was just magnificent and deservedly puts her magnificent goal above Russos superb back-heel.

While I agree Toone's was a stunning goal and the importance of it! I just think Russo's should have been number 1 for the sheer cheek of it to back heel it and not only that meg the keeper too, that takes skill. Tough one because Toone's was an outrageous dink over the keeper, you can't help but just admire Russo's back heel

Although a great goal it was just a back heel and hope, toone's was harder she had it all to do in front of her, had time to think to mess it up or not as it so transpired, she kept her cool and it was a sublime finish. It's all subjective ofc! so each to their own.

I gave up caring for and watching men's football around 15 or a bit more years ago, then I discovered women's football, have been watching as many matches as I can since a bit more than 5 years ago and have never enjoyed watching football as much in my life, the passion, the commitment, the sportmanship, the ladies show is hard to match, most play football cause they really love to play when you consider that most need to have a side job to be able to play, as opposed to most men's footballers that are just spoiled greedy egoisticall annoying "divas".

I live in Canada and would love to attend a match in England, looking at season ticket costs for FA WSL around 80-100 pounds and the Premier League 1000 - 2000 pounds. I would like to experience both, this is a no brainer to me in terms of cost. If you're reading this message and you live in England, go sell out the women's game and support all of them. World class players from all over the world play in many English side clubs. Ofc in time those season ticket costs will have to go up as well if women are to compete with annual salary with the men. But for the time being, save some money, get the family out and have some fun watching the women's game.

Think you'll find that the tournament is awarded a year or more in advance , in order for the event to be organised. who Eufa award it to, is up to them. And no certainty of who gets to the final anyway. Just coincidence.

You realise how long it would take to organise this? at least a month , and what about all the tickets and travel plans that 90,000 fans have made. They'll get no refunds from train or bus tickets, no refunds from hotel rooms, or flights , no more days off work. and you'll have to pay wembley the cost of getting ready to host it. Have you got several million pounds in your wallet to cover all those costs? Think about it and dont be stupid.

@@drbomdaydayboms4890 I'm going to the czech game at brighton in oct. The cost for me, including driving there , train from hotel to ground and back , any meals and tickets is over £200 . Multiply that by 90,000 ( if that was the wembley game ). Close on £2 million. and wembley isnt cheap to hire , plus the cost of another stadium that can hold 90,000 . You didnt think this through, did you ?

In fairness there is no real victory. Leah Williamson's handball was missed by the Ukrainian referee. And again Germany was deprived of victory after 1966.

it wasn't - went to VAR and was dismissed. Ball to hand (actually shoulder) - no pen. And, come on, it's not like Germany have been deprived of winning!, they've won it eight times!!

So far behind the men's game! The defending is like watching school boys! The goal keepers are non existence! But I suppose we all have to say its wonderful to watch these days! Women wanting equal pay to the men is ridiculous!
