Go behind-the-scenes of the first week in Australia. The team land in Perth, braving the seas and overcoming the jet-lag before getting back down to business. #WearTheRose

Genge seems like such a class bloke. Always seems to go out of his way to make new players welcome and always give 100% on the field. Would love to see him capitan England one day.

Great to see Danny Care back in the team... Good luck lads. This summer tour is going to be a brutal experience I suspect. Lets hope for aggression at the breakdown, smart decision making, and some decent tackling! Above all lets hope for some entertaining rugger!

I would love it if EJ manages to get 🏴 1 step further in the WC next year v 2019...but I just can't see it happening. 2019 was EJs peak...and he/we failed at the final hurdle. Pride (and a shortsighted RFU) has kept him in the role. I don't blame him for giving it a final shot...he wants to win the WC desperately...but he isn't utilising all the best English players now...because they don't fit his system...and instead he is holding onto older players past their best because they do fit. Ultimately I think he will give a good go...we may even do well in the 6N and then reach the SF of the WC. But we aren't going to win under his management.
@hanoitripper18092 жыл бұрын
He accomplished his goal though, ie for years he only said “ we need to beat Nz in the semi” , instead of “ ‘ibid’ … and perform at our best a week later”
@randyschwaggins2 жыл бұрын
@@hanoitripper1809 to beat Aus, NZ and SA in consecutive weeks was always going to be a superhuman effort. If we hadn't concentrated on NZ so hard I don't think we could have won...but ultimately it cost us in the final.

@@randyschwaggins Rock Paper Scissors ABs had the beating of SA in any final SA had the easy beating of ENG in any final, ENG had the beating of NZ. the way the draw worked it was always going to be SA beating ENG in the final should they get past the ABs. Just look at that test series in 2018. Locks like Snyman rampaging, charging up the field with the ball in one hand. they destroyed England in those first two tests. What made anyone think that the final would be any different?

That squat with the band for 1 arm trying to replicate scrummaging is stupid, Joel Seedman stuff. Squats should be for correcting the imbalances of scrummaging not further increasing the work on 1 side, snap city stuff.
@Cam-xm7li2 жыл бұрын
i think the international S&C coach probably knows a bit more about his field of work than you do
@dbjmk80832 жыл бұрын
@@Cam-xm7li they're basically experimenting on top tier athletes, zercher squats would probably be better for scrummaging than this stuff. Keep skill work and corrective strengthening separate.
@riccardonotarangelo24252 жыл бұрын
you might not be considering that the player might have a shoulder injury or mobility issues... and that this is just a way for him to secure the bar with less strain on his shoulder.
@dbjmk80832 жыл бұрын
@@riccardonotarangelo2425 then why the hell wouldn't they use the safety squat bar? Jonny Hill used it, that avoids shoulder and hip issues way better. This band squat increases the potential for the shoulder socket to go wayward and potentially injured a lot more.
@rileywatson34502 жыл бұрын
@@Cam-xm7li just because someone holds a high position doesn't mean their methods should be immune to criticism. He is actually right, try arguing against his logic instead of stating his position as an s&C coach
