I started learning English to be able to program in Basic (an old computer language) yes, it was a long long time ago. My programming career didn't happen, but understanding of English opened me a whole new world. I love this language and its history. Wish it could be my first language.

Well I learnt English when I used to read science textbooks. But real interest came out when there was a change in our English syllabus and new textbooks had awesome chapters to read and learn English. Besides that it had nice poems and lot of figure of speech to learn

I started learning English with children's story and it helped me a lot at the starting point. And I still do it.
