【♥ PERSONAL NOTES ⇣ 】
Last night I left my bedroom and saw a huge spider crawling up the wall in front of me. I went to go get a jar so I could release it back outside, but when I returned it was GONE???
Later, once I managed to convince myself that it had hidden itself away in the attic never to return OR alternatively was ~ never there in the first place ~ , I went to go settle back down in my office and guess what?
There it was.Right on my desk. Waiting. Mocking me. I cried for like half an hour and wondered how my life got so messed up .......
Okay, actual relevant notes though.
This is one of those songs I've had to shove my perfectionism deep down for. I wish I could spend the next couple months getting it perfect but I've been away for so long it's more critical that I get back into the habit of being active -- and I'd rather put that energy into the next couple original songs I have coming out shortly.
One original song in particular is the first thing I've been excited about / happy with since last summer, so I'm just going to focus on releasing those (though expect some anime and game covers inbetween, my most recently finished anime cover is the full version of 'Hacking the Gate' from Steins;Gate!).
This song was fun though! It's the social aspect that makes me nervous lately, but I love Kikuo to death. And I love being dramatic and over the top with them. I originally felt bad about it but I'm just going to embrace the opportunity to occasionally choose character over sounding the prettiest, and I'll have more time and resources to make things more polished in the future.
Anyone is allowed to use my lyrics for their own covers if they want and sing them in whichever style they choose.
