Which football club should I go to next in Europe?

A little background info about those small beers: Kölsch is supposed to always be drunken as fresh as possible (foam and "fizz"). Thats why they serve you smaller amounts (usually 0.2 or 0.3 Liters) BUT, and here is the deal, they serve you many. And fast. In a typical Cologne Brauhaus or Pub you are not asked is you want more beer, if your glas is empty, well or near that, or half way there, or sometimes if you only have one lonely glas from the beginning... the server will just put a new one in front of you which you pretty much have to accept. The only way to prevent that is by putting the beermat onto the glas. Important information. Don't underestimate those little beers, you can loose track fast. Greetz.

I was lucky enough to go this game as well. The atmosphere was amazing and something I've never experienced before , truly breathtaking. I'm an exchange student from NZ in Germany and this has to be one of my highlights in such a fantastic country.

This Club is Love, Blood and Sweat! Every Minute every second!! I am German and would die for the FC! makes me proud that you liked it!!

A fact about Cologne is that most people worship our Captain, some people even say he‘s more of a hero for Cologne than the Prince Lukas Podolski was because, when Cologne went down to the second division, he could‘ve gone everywhere(BVB, Barcelona, etc…) but stayed with Cologne. He was national player at that time. When we were in the first division he scored some really important goals and in the season after that, he was not only injured for a long time(his second big one after the injury he got in London(yes, we went down to second division in that season) but also his brother, he was really close with, died at the age of 31. Still he acted as a striker(he‘s a defender) and put in everything in the team while we would probably go back to second division again. Long story short, he scored against one of the best teams twice in a game and saved us with that. And that’s why we love Jonas Hector. Fußballgott.

So glad that you guys visited a match in Cologne! I’m actually from Cologne and of course a huge FC fan and member and now I’m living part time in the UK with my dad and those matches are one of the things, that make me travel home to Germany as often as I can.

I'm a wigan fan and I've only been one ever German game in my life when I was on holiday and I went to watch koln v wolfburg quite long back they had go win to stay up and they scored in 90th min. Atmosphere was brilliant. Go again

Went there in 2015 vs Hamburg, absolutely loved every minute of it.... atmosphere, fans were class as they always are, city was buzzing every day. Going again in sept but its international break so doing the stadium tour of this ground and dortmund plus a Regionaliga game at Offenbach. Going to love it, as I always do

Visited them a few times its amazing. One time we were a little late with buying tickets, we ended up in the away section....which was Darmstadt haha. We had to boo when Koln scored but I was so relieved after the game (4-1) .

If u want to experience great atmospheres id recommend going to a Frankfurt game otherwise I’d also recommend union berlin they have crazy fans who built the stadium for the club with their own hands

Brilliant vlog Theo. What did you think of Cologne? It's a cool, historic and friendly city, isn't? Funnily enough, my first visit to the RheinEnergie-Stadion was to that very fixture, but VfL Wolfsburg ran out comfortable winners. Kölsch is a very refreshing beer, I'd agree with Thogdad's high rating!
