Not the perfect time to attend esperance game that period was tough on us (new manager, new players etc...) The derby or the quarter or semi final of CL has more atmosphere.. also a fact that Ultras mentality has entered Africa and the Arab world through " Ultras L'emkachkhines " the esperance Ultras group with the black banner in the middle of the "Curva Sud" since 2002.. welcome to Tunisia mate.

Would've loved if you came for the Derby Match a couple weeks ago or for the African Football League matches at the beginning of the season , the atmosphere was way way crazier ( TIFOs, Pyroshows, etc...) ! FYI stadium capacity is limited by police (for “security” reasons !! ) they inly put in 9k tickets the rest were season tickets and no one -18 allowed unless with an adult. Great fan base been there crazy fans !!

It wasn’t the perfect time to attend an Esperance game due to the sanctions from the CAF … fans cannot use the smoke and flames otherwise the team will be disqualified by the CAF for breaching the trials and it has been going for over than 6 months now … hope to see you in game in Tunisian National league against CA or ESS … it would be a different experience… will be waiting for you in another game in Tunisia 🇹🇳

by the way, the strictness of the security in stadiums is because some fans might have hidden weapons like a knife which is usually the case in a derby ( esperance vs etoile for example) a lot of conflict happens between the fans as they are provoking each other most of the time, some others also take the chance to sell drugs and stuff, so yeaa. that's why it's better in general to leave the stadium as quick as possible to avoid any unecessary harm like you did in here
