Their tifo display was a sight to behold, and the high level of noise they maintained throughout the match was truly impressive. Nice that you found your way to Freiburg. Yes, Freiburg is an underdog and in comparison a very small club without famous players... and the claim that our SC will one day play against Juve in the EL round of 16 would have been a hit in stand-up comedy 5 years ago. What is special is that almost everyone likes our SC. We are known for our passionate but also very respectful way of dealing with players and other fans. And of course for Christian Streich :D After 36 years of ups and downs with "my" SC, I can't wait to see what's next.

Cool city Basel & Freiburg. I've made that exact same trip as you! My dad is from Basel so I go there quite often then I travelled alone to watch Freiburg v Hertha Berlin around 4 years ago in the Bundesliga at their old stadium before going to Bayern v Liverpool. Such a nice city, I went exploring in the forest to the east of the city centre some really nice views from the top of a tower! Really nice people I met in the "ultras curve" too who I had a beer with! Keep up the good work Thogden 👍

just some corrections :D Juventus arrived at Basel airport. Freiburg airport is too small for big planes. Also the town hall you showed is not the town hall it's the historic warehouse

Afterwards we went to the local Pub to watch the carabaocup final... Two of them we're magpies the other three some toffees... And we talked a lot about modern football and how dysfunctional the system ist... They were surprised when i told them about the Freiburgway of archieving Things in Football... Freiburg ist calm, sustainable and humble as a Club... We are still 100% memberbased, we aren't in debts and loyality is another fundament of the Club... Christian Streich is in charge for more than a decade, we even got relegated with him and promoted the season after... After 20 long years I still love the Club and its values... Its fun to See the club grow from season to season

After last night I first cried for half an hour because I just was heartbroken because we lost. But then I kept on crying because I just was proud of what my club achieved. You need to come to the US to watch some MLS games, it will be a step down from what you are used to, but to see the growing soccer culture in America is something amazing. I’ve been a fan of the Philadelphia Union since they became a team in 2010, I was only 7 then, here I am today now 19, still a fan, and I can tell you the culture around the team and the league has grown beyond expectations. You definitely can’t miss out on this culture because it’s hard to go to a Philadelphia Union game and think back to when we could barely fill the stands, now most games are sold out or tickets are just hard to come by. Would be great to see you watch the Philadelphia Union, but any MLS team, or a even a few games, would be a treat!

I think the passion, the urge to discover talents that imediatly play well in the first team and the clever financial strategie is what makes it so adictive to be fan of Freiburg. The frustrating thing isn't going out in the second leg of the UEL, it's going out to a club like Juve, a Club that spits in the face of what football is supposed to be, a club that breaks rules and gets away with it, a club that lies and gets away with it, a club that plays for time from the first minute in the away game and gets away with it. A club whose "away fans" sit on their asses the entire match and don't sing a single chant or song but as soon as their team scores suddenly they feel like they're the kings of the world for beating a team that maybe has a tenth or even less of the financial means and history that their team has. And it especially hurts after getting such a dumb second booking and such a dumb pen against us and still playing a great match against Juve. Imagine what we could have done with 11 men.
