Here's a minor tweak! “It's a great idea to learn English in a way that brings us joy. I'm currently learning English and I try to find motivating materials on KZfaq.” How do you practice your English speaking skills now?

Thank you for your useful answer. As you understood I’m trying to practice my English, because this is my goal to learn it; that’s why I use every occasion to communicate with other people. My level is not enough good in order to speak in a freely way. Thanks for your experience, so you may help on KZfaq many who appreciate!

Hi! I have some colleagues and friends from English speaking countries and i don’t find any problems when I converse with them or listen to them conversing with each other :) sometimes I naturally pick up some new expressions in the context!

@@steveperry4243 I had to put forth a ton of effort with different ways behind the scene and it took time definitely to reach the level where I can just understand whoever speaking English at whatever pace. What languages are you learning? How do you see your listening comprehension level?

@@steveperry4243 oh but if they have their thick and strong regional accents like an Irish accent, it’d be challenging until i get used to it 😂

It takes a lot of effort for sure. Good for you! I'm amazed by people who can speak English fluently as a second language. I find a lot of English learners can get stuck (fluency-wise) between A.) Slowed down, non-realistic classroom style English, and B.) Authentic speech. There's not a lot of quality resources to bridge that gap, in my experience. I am an English teacher actually! My main obsession is offering English learners access to real-world English in an organized, scalable, step-by-step way. @@hunji._
