Why didn't you use any of the irregular past participles adjectives as an example?

You talked about receive and cause the feeling, proportionally in the present or in the past participle adjectives. I would like to ask you, how can we understand when we say "I'd like to congratulate you for perfect roasted steak." In this case we don't talk about feelings, but with past participle adjective "roasted", we mean that the steak receives the action of roasting?

I just had a doubt about "movie was interesting", I think that going to be past participle right.

for you not to get confused, after the verb, try asking yourself 'what'? Going back to the sentence. The movie was ----what? interested? No. Is the movie the one who is watching us? the movie was interesting. Correct. Because the movie was what? Ans. Interesting. It functions as an adjective which describes the subject. Hope this helps you.
