Read this:- Being myself a student of English Honours, all I will say that speaking depends on how good are you at writing. Speaking is nothing out of this world, it is just telling or using that same language that you used in writing verbally. Your grammar should be strong as you will not be taught grammar in classes. and if you have doubt regarding your grammatical skills, go, get a good book and start practicing grammar. একজন অনার্স এর ছাত্র মানে তাকে একটা 15 মার্কস এর কোয়েশ্চন 9-10 পাতা লিখতে হবে সেমেস্টার সিস্টেম এটা প্রথম শুনলাম আর তিন ঘণ্টার ভেতরে যদি 40 পেজ আনসার লিখতে হয় তাহলে একজন স্টুডেন্ট কে কত ব্রিলিয়ান্ট হতে হবে তা ভাবা যায় না ।Calcutta University strictly follow the rules regarding words count like, for 15 marks question you have to write 600 words and 5 pages are enough for this and anyone cannot exceed that deadline ,আমি আমার অনেক বন্ধুদের দেখেছি তারা 60-70 % পেয়েছে কই তাদের তো এক্সামে 40 পাতা লিখতে হয় নি।May be CU curriculums is easier than others University in West bengal 🙂.

Now I am English Honors student. she said, English Honors 5th question answers are 4 pages and 10th marks are 7-8 but it is completely wrong. 2 pages for 5 marks and 4 pages for 10 marks are enough. This is not my opinion this is my teachers suggestion. We all know that writing in English is much less than Bengali. And in my experience with tests, it saves a lot of time if a student starts writing from beginning without thinking about anything else.

এ ভুল বলছে English honours কে জটিল করে তুলে ধরার চেষ্টা আমি BKU থেকে English এ graduation করেছি 5 number এর জন্য দু তিন পাতা লিখতে হবে এমন দিব্যি দেওয়া আছে কি!! যে question এর যতটা পর্যাপ্ত answer ততটা লিখলেই হলো.. এমনিতেই Honours এর এক্সামে হাতের লেখার স্পিড থাকা খুব জরুরী , তাই যত সম্ভব answer গুলো brief করা দরকার নইলে সময়ের মধ্যে complete হবে না!!

English hons নেওয়া মানেই যে ইংরেজি তে ভালো আর অনার্স না নিলে সে খারাপ এটা ভুল ধারনা, কারন English hons is fully based on Literature..এখানে যে যত নোটস মুখস্থ করবে তার তত লাভ আর তাছাড়া ও ইংরেজি অনার্স এ বেসিক টাই তো অনার্স এ নেই, যেটি বিভিন্ন পরীক্ষায় আসে, সাহিত্য থেকে কিন্তু কোন পরীক্ষায় প্রশ্ন আসে না ইংরেজি তে, আমার প্রিয় বিষয় ইংলিশ, ৯২ পেয়েছি উচ্চমাধ্যমিক এ , কিন্তু আমি যেটুকু ইংলিশ জানি তাতে অনার্স টা না নিলেও আমার কোন প্রবলেম হবে না, বোঝানোর জন্য ধন্যবাদ, এটুকু বলতে পারি কোথাও গিয়ে ঠকবো না❤️❤️

For 15 numbers if a student has to write 9 page it means for 90 numbers with six questions, a student will have to write 54 pages. What r you saying , have you any sense.
