Regretting for taking English as degree.. I was not aware about the subject. Just by listening someone thought, i had taken it.. Now its feel like I'm wasting my time and this is the worst of all

সম্মানিত উপদেষ্টা, খুবই জরুরি দরকার ছিলো আপনার একটা রিপ্লাই আপনার মতামত এ ব্যাপারে যে আমি তুলনামূলক কোন সাবজেক্ট এ অনার্স পরে বেশি ভালো ক্যারিয়ার বিল্ড আপ করতে পারব, ইংলিশ / ফুড এন্ড নিউট্রশন??????

Studying English gives you a better understanding of language which will be an asset. Try to use that skill to secure jobs in the corporate sector. Or you can also work as an academic in private institutions.

Hello sir, Would BBA be a better choice over English.? Since I have to learn english language in BBA as well. And I am not really into literature. And is BBA all about math .?

BBA would be a better choice. BBA is a mixed course with all topics from business. See my video on BBA.

স্যার আমার SSC & HSC সাইন্স থেকে। সকল সাবজেক্টে এ+ আছে। আমি পাবলিকে চান্স পাই নি কিছু কারণ বসত পড়ালেখা ঠিকমতো করতে না পারায়। এখন স্যার আমার কোন সাবজেক্টে অনার্স করা উচিত ইন্জিনিয়ারিং নাকি ইংরেজি নাকি বিবিএ তে। স্যার আনার মুলত ইচ্ছা সরকারী একটা প্রথম শ্রেণির চাকুরী করা। ব্যাংক বা যেকোনো জায়গায় হতে পারে। তাই আমি অনার্স এর প্রথম থেকেই একাডেমিক এর পাশাপাশি জব প্রিপারেশন অল্প অল্প করে শুরু করতে চাই। কিন্তু স্যার যদি সরকারি চাকুরী না হয় তাইলে বেসরকারি বা কর্পোরেট ক্ষেত্রে ভ্যালু পাবো এমন একটা সাবজেক্ট চয়েস করতে চাই। আমার তাহলে কোন কোর্সে যাওয়া উচিত?

You can consider studying in the business field, call ma, call mix or even English degree. It’s important to develop basic math knowledge though.

I think this is a good subject given that Bangladesh is a greenfield for development sector. As for the university, I think it depends on how much you can get the maximum out of the university. Try to get some work integrated learning experience during university life

Hello Sir! I have recently completed my Honours from English department of daffodil.Now I'm planning to admit on master's degree but I'm confused on it. Should i admit on diu or move to another top private university like brac / nsu/iub/ewu .If i move to another university for master's degree,is it gonna beneficial more or less? Or it's gonna same output like daffodil. Kindly give me some suggestions & advice 🙏

If you can do Master’s from a top university like NSU or BRACU that will certainly add more weight too your cv. Also think about getting some practical skills to equip yourself before embarking on career path.

IBA is an institution and BBA is a degree. You can study BBA degree in IBA.

Sir, I am in now 4th year of university graduation, but now I want to change my subject. I am very much passionate about biological-related subjects, especially biochemistry. I want to admit to a foreign university in an undergraduate program. Am I eligible for undergraduate now? As I completed my HSC in 2019 and am now in 4th year of university graduation.

Yes you are eligible. You need to have a good IELTS score. If you are studying from a private institution, then you can look for opportunities to transfer credit to some foreign universities.

This is very practical advice. If I got this advice before taking English, I would never ever choose English for honours and masters. The knowledge I gained studying English has no use in the business or corporate world. This advice will help many students to make decisions before enrolling in the English department.

You have to check with the university if they allow course change. As far as I know public universities in Bangladesh do not have options to change course.

স্যার একটা ব্যক্তিগত প্রশ্ন: আমি যদি ব্র‍্যাকে ইইই তে ভর্তি হই এই সেমিস্টারে তাহলে কি পরবর্তী সেমিস্টারে আমি সিএসইতে ডিপার্টমেন্ট চেইঞ্জ করে শিফট হতে পারব? এই ব্যাপারে এডমিশন অফিস থেকে ৩ দিন গিয়ে ৩ জন দায়িত্বশীল থেকে ৩ রকমের তথ্য পেয়েছি। একজন বলেছেন এই ব্যাপারে ডিপার্টমেন্ট বলতে পারবে,আরেকজন বলেছেন করা যাবে,আরেকজন বলেছেন সম্ভব না। যেহেতু আমি ব্র‍্যাকের রানিং স্টুডেন্ট এখনো হইনি অফিশিয়ালি সেহেতু আমার এক্সেস নাই ডিপার্টমেন্টে গিয়ে কথা বলার। এক্ষেত্রে আপনি কোনভাবে হেল্প করতে পারবেন সংশ্লিষ্ট ফ্যাকাল্টি/ডিপার্টমেন্ট থেকে জেনে নিয়ে?

আচ্ছালামুয়ালাইকুম ভাই আমার এসএসসি রেজাল্ট ৩.৪১ এইচএসসি ৪.১৭ আমি মূলত ডিগ্রির স্টুডেন্ট। প্লিজ একটু জানাবেন ভাই। আমরা যারা ডিগ্রির স্টুডেন্ট তাদের স্বপ্ন তো একপ্রকার শেষ। এখন এটা যদি করা যায় তো একটা আশার আলো অন্তত আবার জেগে উঠবে ভাই। আমার প্রশ্ন হলো আমি যদি ডিগ্রি তে ভালো রেজাল্ট করতে পারি এবং আমার মাস্টার্স টাইম হলো ২ বছরের। তো আমি যদি মাস্টার্স এও ভালো রেজাল্ট করতে পারি আমি কি এম ফিল ও পিএইচডি করতে পারবো? আমার এসএসসি রেজাল্ট ৩.৪১ এইচএসসি ৪.১৭ প্লিজ একটু জানাবেন ধন্যবাদ

Of course you can apply for Mphil and PhD. But it will be good to check the minimum requirements from the institution where you are planning to undertake your degree.

@@DrSayemHossain I would like to complete honours with pressure less subject. I avoided Engineering subjects because of I'm not good in math. Is English good for me? Is English less pressure or easy? (Compare to others subject)
