Bravo Brian, io non mi sento molto bravo con il listening, soprattutto quando mi parla un madrelingua, ma devo dire che ti ho capito al 95% per tutto quello che hai detto. Guardavo il testo in inglese solo quando pronunciavi i nomi dei luoghi italiani, ma perchè molti non li conoscevo. Due sono le cose: o sono diventato un genio del listening o tu ti stai italianizzando😂 Solitamente quando mi parla un non madrelingua di qualsiasi nazione lo capisco molto meglio rispetto a qualsiasi inglese. Quindi penso che tu abbia capito come parlare un perfetto inglese ma facendoti capire anche da un non madrelingua... i veri problemi ci sono quando guardo serie TV, probabilmente un vocabulary più ampio e l'utilizzo di slang o modi di dire mi rendono più arduo il listening... comunque ottimo lavoro sei bravissimo, continua così

Di grande aiuto è stato seguire in lettura il tuo parlato, ovviamente mi riferisco all’inglese! La traduzione non l’ho proprio considerata. Il problema enorme è parlare perché magari conosco molte più parole di quante me ne vengano in mente al momento del bisogno. E niente, dovrei staccare totalmente dall’italiano per almeno un mese e… vedere l’effetto che fa 😘

hey, nice video, it was a cool exercise i did in some spare time. i misunderstood very few words and made it through level four. i'm looking forward to seeing other listening exercices on your channel, brian. keep it up, you're doing a great job, anyone can see you're a great english teacher. unironically i learnt more with five of your short videos than of eight years of english learning in italy. as i said your videos are really helpful and considerably helped me and still do. keep it up! P.S you're a remarkably good non-native italian speaker, considering that in comparison italian is a lot harder than english, you have earned rightfully my regard.

Brian , I have only the first certification of Cambridge University ( grade c) but I understood almost every word of level 4 test. Anyway as a teacher of italian I have to tell you something : si dice " siete appena sopravvissuti" non "avete appena sopravvissuto" .

Is such a shame that I can undestand expert level having way more lower skill in writing and speaking. At this moment I have a B2 certification from highschool, I would like to have a C1 or C2 but I know I have to study a lot more mostly because I do not remember all the grammar rules and I almost stutter speaking english, too often the right words don't come in my mind. Thank you for this test! It gave me a bit of confidence in myself
