I thought they made some improvements so it could be fired multiple times, but the command seal draining shot still leaves the master utterly drained.

@@crystalkasumi3281He doesn't speak about this, the improvement that happened in Tunguska. He speak about the change on the Guda bodies because of the Black Barel. In Olympus, at one time, Castor was holding the Master and then grew scared of the Master.

@@Kamuisaki I have trouble recalling, maybe he seemed in a state of death or felt like it? Perhaps momentarily felt conceptually dead or simply repulsive to beings connected to gods. The Black Barrel's effects is not a nice feeling to gods even if you weren't shot at yourself. Edit: Adding on that, Mash and us the master are both connected to the Black Barrel to some degree during and after firing through contract and command seal usage. Residual effects from that shot would not feel nice. Remember the curse with Gil to Kirei? Maybe they felt the effects through that.

The only thing that I'm sure to remember is what I say with Castor and the Gudas. It's not that the Master receive a residual effect that harm him directly, it's more it give him an alteration of his body / soul. If we compare it with gameplay, I think the effect of the Black Barrel on the Master is more like a passive skill than something like a curse dot.

Ritsuka didn't only power the Black Barrel with Command Spells, after all -- they also supplied their own magical energy, their life force, for the shot directly. That connection goes two ways, and, among other things, probably gives Ritsuka something akin to Ibuki's Fingertips of Defilement, but aimed at gods. Going off the stated canon, Guda's current powermod list is Demon God Pillars (as per Case Files collab), gods (as per Olympus) and Beasts (as per Arcade collab).
