The story of evil Two twins named Rin and Len were separated when they were 4 but were reunited when they were 14, Rin was originally engadged to Kaito, who was the prince of blue.. She was deeply in love with him, but he choose Miku the maiden of green instead. Miku didn't love kaito though, she loved Len who she met inside the village when len was getting some chores done.. Rin was enraged and jealous of Miku, so jealous she ordered Len to kill Miku, and her army to destroy the Country of green.. And so Kaito was enraged at Rin and vowed he would defeat her, with the help of Meiko they had formed an army and were ready to have a retribution. Len didn't want that to happen, so he switched places with Rin, Rin became the servant and Len dressed as the queen, therefore he was killed.. Rin went on and lived with Haku a fair girl who did live in the Green country, she had white hair when all the others had green, thus she was hated by all, but miku came and loved her, they became best friends, but after her Miku died, she now lives in a chapel by the sea, thats how she met Rin, they soon became friends. In a church near their chapel, Rin goes into the Sin box (Where they tell all their Sins to god) And confesses that it was all her fault, Haku overheard Rin, and was enraged and filled with misery, she decided to kill Rin.. Rin had decided to send a wish out to sea that day, and when she set out the bottle at the port, Haku was behind her, ready to kill her with a pocket knife, but something stopped her, Haku noticed Rin was just like her, a lonely girl, so she decides to not make the same mistake.. At the end of it all Haku claimed she saw an illusion of a boy who originally was Len.. he was basically tell Haku not to kill Rin or else he died for nothing.. And so miku and Len are together in the sky kaito and Meiko have they're revenge Rin and Haku became nuns for the church At the end of this story I still think the whole message is saying, "Love can make us do crazy things.." It really shows how much he loved Riliane, and I believe Allen died happily knowing he '"gladly played his part". The lyrics capture Allen's devotion to his twin beautifully, and every single time I come back to this lovely rendition it brings back so many memories of my early vocaloid days + even some friends from elementary who got into Vocaloid with me. This is it. This is the song (and a cover at that!) that got me into Vocaloid. I've heard about Vocaloid for awhile, but it's been two years since I first heard about its existence. In 2014, this song was in your playlist when I was rummaging around for your SNK covers (which I have to say, they're gorgeous), and my curiosity got the best of me. I had an inkling that it was Vocaloid, but it was Miku's appearance in the video that told me that it was indeed Vocaloid. I ended up watching the other two videos and fell in love with the trilogy before moving on to other songs to listen to. I owe you a big thanks for bringing me to an understanding of Vocaloid, and for all the Vocaloid covers I'm now watching. You have a lot of talent, and such a lovely singing voice. Alright this is for any of you guys that are confused about the story(this is gonna be a long ass comment lolol) Okay so let's start with the basics, in this story the vocaloids don't actually go by their vocaloid names. For example: Rin= Rilliane Lucifen D'Autriche Len= Allen Avadonia(as a servant)/ Alexiel Lucifen D'Autriche(when he was prince) Miku= Michaela Kaito= Kyle Marlon And so on. But for the sake of those who didn't know that I will refer to them with their Vocaloid names. Okay so starting at the beginning... When Len and Rin were very little, Rin was possessed by the demon of Gluttony(I think). Elluka(the kingdom's mage) thought she had exorcized the demon(maybe she did, I'm not sure) but they still kept a close eye on Rin in case the demon came back or something. (This demon was the same demon that told Len that putting a wish in a bottle and sending it out into the sea would make your dream come true.) Some time after that(or before I can't remember, all I know is that Len and Rin were still very young when this happened) there was an assassination attempt on Len, so the queen had him sent away for his own safety. And due to the exorcism Rin had just gone through, she lost her memories, including of ever having a twin brother. So after the king died, someone faked his will stating that Len would become king and instead changed it to Rin becoming Queen. When Rin was like 12, her mother died and she was made queen. By this time, I'm pretty sure Rin became possessed by the demon of pride and that is why she became an evil tyrant. In regards to the elimination of the country of green(which is actually called Elphegort), Rin and Kaito were engaged, Kaito fell in love with Miku and broke off the engagement with Rin which caused her to get jealous and order the death of every girl with green hair. Miku though, was not in love with either Kaito or Len, but in love with Haku(the white haired girl). But when Len went to go kill Miku, he found she was already dead(Miku was actually killed by Neru, who was another maid in Rin's castle) Meiko joined the rebellion because her adoptive father(named Leonheart) was killed by Len under the orders of Rin(though Meiko did not know until later that it was Len specifically who killed Leonheart) So both Kaito and Meiko set out to destroy Rin and her kingdom of evil. So as you probably already know, Len and Rin switched places. In the prison cell where Len was waiting to be executed, he lied to Kaito and told him he actually did kill miku(Kaito beat Len up for that) and Meiko found out that the person who they captured was Len. When Meiko found out, she asked Len to run away with her(as they were close seeing as they basically grew up as siblings after Len was taken in by Leonheart). Len refused and thus he was executed. Rin, ran away after the execution and met Haku. Haku and Rin became close friends, until the night Haku overheard Rin's confession about being the Daughter of Evil. Haku was at that moment possessed by the demon of Wrath, and that was why she choosed to try to kill Rin. The demon of wrath was chased off by Len's spirit (which is why Haku claimed to have seen a boy) and they both grew up to be nuns. Now if after this you are still confused...then you should be. 'The Story of Evil' is actually a part of a larger series of songs and novels called 'The Evillious Chronicles' and it explains a large number of things including why demons are so involved in this story, who Elluka is and where the hell she was during this encounter, and who Neru and Prim are and why they are important and so on. If you truly want to understand the story of evil, I recommend looking up the Evillious Chronicles and reading the wiki pages.
