Hi maam I like the way you explain. I am going to refer all the chapter from your channel and also Maam in the 29th stanza 2nd line 27:54 Shrink is not referred to the shrinking of the board planks of the ship but it is referring to the shrinking of the mariner's crew members who died due to dehydration as there was no fresh water to drink.

Maam is there any irony in the poem coz the crew first says that the old mariner killed the bird who brought southern wind and then they changed their statement that the bird had brought fog and moist and hence he did the right thing by killing the bird. In both these statement their opinions are changed so can we call it as irony. Please reply fast and also give a reason to explain. Thanks I shall be extremely obliged
