'Labour of Love' targets audiences at upper-intermediate and advanced levels of English.
Each episode of the programme explores the lives of different people who are passionate about their work.
Through interviews and conversation with native speakers, and with visual aids and prompts to facilitate memorization, viewers are introduced to new vocabulary used in various occupations. The interviewee’s speech is supported by subtitles.
The programme is based on the communicative approach, aimed at the development of all the basic language aspects at the same time.
