I have a question you said in Japan they celebrate tanabata festival but your animation is Chinese. If I'm not wrong Japanese don't celebrate their tanabata festival with dragon figure. bro this is not the real story. the real story was that Vega, I'll call her weaver girl was with her sisters having a pool party in a nearby lake and some dude I'll call cowherd found them and stole their clothes so weaver girl went to go find him and got their clothes back but also fell in love at first sight. so she used the excuse that he saw her naked to marry him. they had 2 children and her sisters went back to the heavens reluctantly. but her mother The Queen mother of the west found out and grounded her back to the heavens where she will keep weaving clouds. the cowherd was sad and went to go find her he eventually did but the queen mother sliced the milky way in half using her hairpin and thus the lovers were separated. but once a year the qixi festival takes place and the cowherd and weaver girl are able to spend a day with each other
