Thanks so much for this awesome lesson! Learning phrasal verbs always come in handy! In my country it's not so common to drop in in someone's house without texting or letting them know beforehand. Whenever you are free, drop by my place so we can hang out and grab a bite to eat. Put up the painting please In Germany, they put up a wall, aka Berlin wall, to separate the West and East of Germany The government plans to put up news schools and hospitals. Let's put up posters to raise climate change awareness. We need to put up some more money to launch the product. I am going to put up in this apartment for a few weeks. I'd like to point out the fact that sales have decreased and we need to take action. She pointed out that the project would most likely fail. Some guy came forward and told the cops about the criminals. The acronym aka stands for also known as I stand for human rights I won't stand for this!
