Great question, I would recommend a unit that's easy to assemble and just as easy to use. You should check out Onefinity CNC. It's almost ready to use out of the box, and the frame is well built. The cnc router I'm using is OpenBuilds 1515. It gets the job done, but it took a bit to assemble. Also, the controller that works with the machine doesn't really work that well. I'm on my second one, and it has started to give me problems again. If I was to do it all over, I would go with Onefinity CNC.
