Kuzuha tries his hand at making a nether portal and adventure for the first time into the Nether. A roller coaster of emotions occur during the whole process.

NOTE:
At 3:57, the subtitles write “It’s no exaggeration~” but Kuzuha actually says that he was exaggerating／〜と言っても過言 (for some reason). I didn’t know if it was a joke or a mistake at the time and also how to make it into English without it being weird. But Kuzuha is weird so I should’ve just kept it in its original.

日本人なので英語が苦手です、間違えていたらごめんなさい🙏… Normally word is 「〜と言っても過言ではない」(it's no exaggeration〜). So, when Japanese people heard 「〜と言っても過言……」, they expect to follow「ではない(no)」 close on the heels of it. But, Kuzuha stops his word 「〜と言っても過言」. In conclusion, he says "It's exaggeration". It's original funny word !

Japanese here:) Nice vid and translation! If it's interfeing, sorry.. One point (if u know it, plz igonore), u could correct the sub at 3:57, u put "It's no exaggeration that〜" and yes he meant that way in fact. But what he actually said was "It's exaggeration that〜" in Japanese (I know it's weird but it's his own syntax lol). Well, it's hard to explain with my poor eng sorry.. Anyway, good work and thx u for spreading Nijisanji to the world!!!

I was actually aware of this joke he made but I didn’t know of a good way to convey the joke the same way he did in Japanese into English :( Looking back at it, I should have just kept it in its original weird syntax; I’ll put a note over in the description. Thanks for the comment!

Pretty sure it's based on proximity. 1 block travelled in the Nether is 8 in the overworld, meaning everything is 8 times closer in the Nether. I think the Portal linking was added to not have too many portal spamming up the Nether

There was already a nether portal close to where his portal would have taken him in the nether, so it linked with that one, and that one already was linked with another existing one in the normal world

He built it far down in the world, so there was not enough free space to generate one. If it finds another portal before it can generate one, it links to it instead. If he mines out the proper location on the other side it'll fix itself. They've improved this behavior a lot in recent updates also

Seigen Awakama Also a bit new to VTubers in general, but the loli girl is Ushimi Ichigo, who debuted in Nijisanji earlier than Kuzuha (though I think Kuzuha started VTubing a month earlier than her? Just as an independent one before joining Nijisanji). I'm also not sure how much experience she has in the Minecraft server, though given the red stone set up by the iron doors to punch to open them, I'd say she has quite a bit more experience than Kuzuha lol (it would help if she had more translated clips)

You can also write it that way, but it’s often just written in katakana. There’s no difference, it’s just that katakana is like japanese all caps lol
