Synopsis: During the Northern Wei Dynasty, Hua Mulan served in the army in place of her father and returned as an honorable soldier. Ten years later, Rouran again harassed the borders, and Hua Mulan returned to the battlefield without hesitation. In order to save Tuoba Ao, Hua Mulan fell into the hands of the enemy. In prison, Hua Mulan saw through Kun Peng's devious plot. Kun Peng assassinated the Great Khan and framed Hua Mulan for the murder. To save the innocent, Hua Mulan decided to face Kun Peng in a fight to the death.

I love Mulan movies. Thank god I understand Chinese. Lol. Honestly, this channel would get a lot more subscribers if all their videos have English subtitles. It gets annoying having to translate to my friend each step of the way, while watching it.

Good movie! I noticed? In this version Mulan is a lesbian. Fun Fact! The actress who plays Mulan is Liu Yongxi 刘泳希. She also played one of the characters in the movie Our Shining Days 2017 闪光少女.

So to my understanding, Unparalleled Mulan is the Part 1 and Unmatched Mulan is Part 2. When you read the bio/synopsis of the movie, it says after she replaced her father to fight the Rourans and then 10 years later the Rourans returned and she once again joins the war. So it pretty much explain that this is the sequel of the confused ending of Unparalleled Mulan.

Nothing to do, Unparalleled (Matchless) Mulan involved witchcraft while this does not, this is a standalone movie that would work perfectly as a sequel for Disney's Mulan... Besides, this is a Youku movie while the others are iQIYI movies, so, no relation whatsoever

I watched,I version of it,a warrior wth sword,symbolizes,,"loyal,brave,and true"wherein,Jetlee is d emperor,,whom mulan destined to protect,bcoz of her loyalty,casting wth a black witch,wherein,mulan told her about living wth a purpose,despite being bad,there still hope of goodness n evry human being,,one word resembles both episode,,and thats,,"bravery"" thanks for sharing,Youku!! and for the english translation ofcourse!!..

The Disney version is not meant to put China's history in proper perspective. It is meant to portray Chinese history with a lot of magic and superstition. If you have seen the movie The Little Buddha you will know what I mean. When Bruce Lee went to the US to act in Hollywood movies, he was very unhappy with the way the Chinese were portrayed.
