I'm so excited for this c-drama knowing that it's a spin off of “Hidden Love” about the brother's love story, I heard it's going to be emotional. When the first poster came out, I was confused because I thought there was no way I hadn't seen such a handsome actor before. But after watching the trailer, he felt familiar. I looked him up and found out he was the main lead from “Reset.”. He totally has a different vibe here, so I didn't recognize him at first. Now I'm even more excited because he was such a phenomenal actor in “Rest”. I already know I'm going to fall in love with him again in this series. As for Zhang Ruonan she is fantastic, I fell in love with her in “My Love”. She has these pearly emotional eyes, it's like she has the galaxy in her eyes. I'm super excited for this lovely pair!! 🫶🏻

Official (correct) synopsis: Wen Yi Fan, a reporter, went to a bar called Jia Ban to meet with her best friend, Zhong Si Qiao. While she was at the bar, she met Sang Yan, a department manager and one of the owners of Jia Ban. He was Yi Fan's high school deskmate and the guy she once fell in love with. The two bump into each other, and as Yi Fan pretends that she does not know who Sang Yan is, Sang Yan does the same. After some problems occur, the two accidentally become housemates and, later on, reconcile their love once again.

Oh god, I can't believe it's going to be released. I was already a fan of Zhu Yi but after watching the series version of Hidden Love and When I Fly Towards You, I became obsessed with her work. I was restlessly waiting for this one since it is Sang Yan's story.

I think Youku has done a phenomenal job with the adaption of Zhu Yi’s work. From production to soundtrack to capturing the essence of her work. Can’t wait more. This reminds me of the picture release of Hidden Love (one where duan jaixu walking and sang zhi standing on the school gate). The way it looks just bring the same atmospheric memory back. At 0:59 the hair style and filter on the shot remind me so much of victor ma (sang Yan when zhi zhi was adult)

Been looking forward to this for years now. Bai Jing Ting and Zhang Ruo Nan are perfectly cast for the roles of Sang Yan and Wen Yifan. Can't wait, and it looks like production nailed the tone and styling for their story. Looking forward to this live action adaptation.

Victor Ma schedule is not fit or crossing out with the shooting schedules of the first frost when the producer asked Victor Ma to be Sangyan again in this drama.... so he declined to playing sangyan in this drama cause

Victor was really good as brother in hidden love, but I think Bai Jing Ting is better for the romance role. Both are great actors but the leads casted for the actual drama are more suitable for my personal preference, esp. that I am expecting a lot on this drama cause of how beautiful the novel is

Iam going to love this drama but as a hidden love fan, victor ma will always be the sang yan in my heart. I just can't imagine another person playing his character. So this kinda does not feel like a spin off of hidden love but just another wonderful drama of bai jing.

Can anyone suggest Bai Jing Ting’s work cause I haven't watched it. I do miss victor ma as sang Yan but this doesn't look bad ngl. Zhang Ruo Nan caught my attention with My boss that came this year so I'm happy to see more of her. Side note, I'm kinda of happy to see this ml than Song Wei Ling playing the sang Yan character and I have no idea why.
