Three things to note. When Xiang comes to report what she learned and tries to tell Kexing secrectly, Kexing waves it off and let's Zhou hear to show trust. Later on, when they kidnap the new captain, Kexing asks Zhou if he should leave so they can talk, but Zhou doesnt reply which is essentially saying that he can stay and listen. They trust each other alot now🥺 Another thing is Kexings face while the two of them are talking. Hes so jealous lol. Even when the captain guy says his life was saved by Zhou and that hes loyal to him, Kexing still looks at them like I see you guys. Also when the captain said to just call me by my real name since you a friend of Zhous he still kept calling him little master😂

Did anyone realize ZZS has a tic when he lies? Usually, he barely blinks when he talks but, when he's lying, he blinks a lot! 32:02 When he said "I'm asking you directly because I treat you as a friend", he didn't blink at all but when he said "I don't care. Can I just say thanks to the subbers? I love how they put notes in that explain the idioms being used. Not all shows have those notes, I've found some subs change the script slightly to get the message across. I'm learning Chinese and it helps when it's as accurate as possible, it gives you more of a sense of immersion, it has more depth.

It's so cute when WKX is jealous.....first it's at his 'disciple/daughter's' new 'boy-friend' because his dearest Ah Xu was being so nice, talkative and courteous with him, then it's with Ah Xu's previous subordinate for daring to stare too long at his Ah Xu. Soooooooo adorable....and it's so refreshing the way he doesn't even try to hide his jealousy or possessiveness where Ah Xu is concerned.

@@yueyuan1474 Yeah, because half of his life (childhood to adult), he's been spending his entire life in a spiritual world (ghosts), his core self is that he's been living in his nightmare his entire life. Zhou Zi Shu is the one who brings him out of his core, out of his nightmare, his spiritual world, to the real world, the human world. And I think this is why he treasures his past with ZZS (childhood) because ZZS is like his light, his guidance to the human world. It's also the reason why WKX was so determined and followed ZZS everywhere to find out who he really is when ZZS disguised himself. In return, WKX brings ZZS back to his past, to the time that he most regrets, so he can fight his demons and overcome them. Basically, they both saved each other from their pasts to the present. This is why they have a very deep connection with each other.
