Wow, this was AWESOME!! Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together for all the English speaking Lovebites fans. It was cool to hear the funny moments about the band. Now I want to know what Asami said to the audience at the TDCH concert that brought everyone to tears. I hope some day to get an English translation of that emotional moment.

So happy that the Rock/Metal bands getting air time in Japan. While in Japan Jpop and Kpop dominate, internationally Japan's top flight Rock/Metal all female bands are the "Face" of Japanese music. So happy that the agencies and record companies are looking outside of Japan to promote their bands. In the west we are starved for really good Rock/Metal and the Japanese are feeding us. Love Asami, but Miyako is my Bias big time!! Asami' story about Miyako did not surprise me. Watch Miyako's videos faithfully. I'm a retired engineer and Miyako so like many engineers I worked with.

lol Japan is a rare country in the world where rock bands are always in demand. Hiphop and american pops dominates the charts in the West and other countries. Japan is still a rare country where a rock band ranks in the charts. like radwimps, King Gnu, One ok rock, Gesuno-kiwami-Otome, Sekai no Owari, higedan, ling-toshite-shigure, queen bee, ryokuoushoku shakai, macaroni-enpitsu, awesome-city-club etc... I don't think all female metal bands can appear on TV shows like they do in Japan in other countries. In your country, only hip-hop rapper and pop singer appear on the show. It is natural that pop music dominates not only Japan but all countries. If there is a country where metal or rock dominates the charts, please list it here. Japan is a country where rock music is listened to more than any other country and there are more rock fans. in japan, Rock festivals and metal festivals are always held, and rock bands are always ranked in charts. That's why veteran western metal bands still often tour Japan. They even release Japan-only CD. Because there is still demand for rock in japan. There is even a Marty Friedman show(rock fujiyama), but there are no such shows in other countries anymore. I think there are more rock guitarists and instrumentalists in Japan than in most other countries. Let's wait and see if all girls metal bands or metal core bands from other countries come out like Japan. And let's wait to see if they can get airtime like in Japan.

you don't seem to know about music. kpop music doesn't dominate the Japanese market lol they use lot of money to appear on Japanese programs and do advertisements, but they still don't dominated Japan's market. By giving a lot of publicity, they are making it seem more popular than the truth. Their market share is tiny compared to Japanese rock band, idols and singersongwriter. Only one song from the BTS has ranked on the annual oricon chart in the past five years. Most of the oricon charts are dominated by Japanese idols, bands and pop music. I'm not saying kpop isn't popular, but it's small compared to domestic Japanese bands or idols. Only some students listen to their songs. In the first place, people who really like music don't see idols as musicians. No Japanese people see them as musicians because they don't write their own songs and can't sing live. Their kpop music is still a subgenre compared to domestic jpop and j rock. Even so, they are desperately trying to promote it because the Japanese music market is so huge. If they can sell even a little bit in Japan, they will make a huge amount of money. Once again, kpop music is not as popular in Japan as you think. They just advertise a lot in Japan. You're a BlackPink fan so you're watching too many overhype videos. That's why you make such a misunderstanding. It is Southeast Asia that can be said to be truly occupied by kpop music. Especially in Asia, there is no other country other than Japan that listens to rock.

If people overseas were listening to rock, all female metal bands like this would have come from overseas. If japan hadn't listened to rock music, the babymetal, lovebites, Unlucky Morpheus, dexcore, jiluka, deviloof, crystal lake and other metal bands wouldn't have debuted from Japan. These bands are able to debut because there is demand in japan. The people who should listen to rock more seriously are people from overseas, not Japan. Look at the US and UK music charts. full of hiphop, auto-tune, Taylor Swift. Look at the music charts for Latin countries. full of reggaeton "boonta boonta" beats. japan is a country where people listen to more rock music than other countries. It's a rare country where a rock band can stay at number one on the charts for weeks on end. like King Gnu, Sekai no Owari and Radwimps. Most of the theme songs used in popular anime are by domestic rock bands. Rock music is always used in Japanese shows and anime. In the case of popular Anime, the rock theme songs are also become very popular. In the Western world, hiphop and auto-tune will be used as the theme song for all programs. Tell young people in your country to listen to rock instead of just hip hop, auto-tune. There are even many child metal guitarists and drummers in Japan. In western countries, there are almost only kids rappers. western kids will only listen to hiphop and pop music.

To begin with, most of JP metal band's fans are still Japanese fans. I think 80~90% of the fans are Japanese fan. That's why they can perform a lot in Japan and not overseas. Even Babymetal, which can perform in 55000-capacity tokyo domes, can only perform in small venues overseas. That size is impossible in the West, where metal is no longer mainstream. If there was no demand for metal or rock music in japan, they wouldn't be able to perform as a band in the first place. If there wasn't a demand for metal music, they wouldn't even try to form a band in the first place. Because there was a demand for metal music, the agency signed a contract with the band and let them debut. agency are not for fun, so they won't sign a contract unless they have a chance of selling. There aren't that many countries these days where one metal band can sell out 50,000 tokyo domes. And for 2 days in a row. In the West, only legend bands who have already established popularity will be able to do it. I don't think a new metal band will be able to sell out the Dome like they can in Japan. The only places in the West(or other countries) that attract that many people are big rock festivals or hiphop concert.

@@novrinkov0053Kpop sells out the Tokyo Dome, Morning Mesume is bigger then all of the rock/metal bands combined. Perfume is bigger than the rock/metal bands. Saki, of Nemophila, stated on Herman Li's show that the rock/metal bands are only a small part music in Japan. What brought attention to Babymetal and Band Maid on Japan TV was they were popular and performing overseas, that was very rare at the time. Opening the door for other bands to follow. The anime bands are bigger and playing bigger venues than the rock/metal bands. Babymetal is both a Jpop group and a metal band, Band Maid's impact in the west carries over into Japan. All the other rock/metal bands that are now performing on the west are following them. Last, why do the major Kpop groups made Japanese language albums and EPs if they weren't very popular in Japan. Do you know how Kpop Idols are Japanese??

I also went to the TDCH. If my memories serve me correct, She said about like below. "It was very hard for me not to see you for a year." "I was worried that people didn't need music or Lovebites." "But when I thought of you, I could do my best." "This pain was not in vain." "I realized again that music is not unnecessary." "I want to continue to walk with you." "I'll show you more of the best scenery." "That is my way of repaying you." -> Glory To The World.

Honestly speaking, when she's singing, I sometimes wonder if she's singing English, or just English sounds she's memorized. She often seems to squeeze words into shorter sounds to fit the rhythm, or stretch them for the same purpose. Actually, I didn't realize she's singing in English until I saw it in the comments. But but but, I love Lovebites!

Hi how are things. I don't care if he pronounces English better or worse, subtitles are there for a reason. Furthermore, the world is not only limited to the English-speaking sphere. There is also Spanish (like me), German, French, and of course Chinese, Indian, Japanese... ...seeing that the present and future of heavy metal is in Asia, I would almost prefer them to sing in Japanese, it would all be much more natural. And the most important thing...the vocal quality, the interpretation, the feeling that is put into each song...is much more important than a more or less compressed or abbreviated word.
