These have been really useful for a call center employee who frequently communicates to random customers over the phone on their daily basis job routines. Based on my experience working on a certain BPO company i often encounter irate callers of customers mainly based in the US. Onset of the call the customer rapidly yelling on the other line. Taunting, cursing, and saying too much profanity towards you. Though in the first place we just taught how to handle or deal with this kind of worst scenario that is common in our daily work. Keep your composure, chill and relax let the customer vent out whatever their issue might be. Acknowledge, sympathize, listen attentively for you to be able to fix their issues. You would have to resolve their concern at the end of the call otherwise you could get a detractor that would gave a huge negative impact on your metric as an employee.

Thank you so much for your lesson. I am Ukrainian and my husband is American. I speak English not so bad but when it comes to disagreement I can’t have a decent conversation with my husband. Also, he says I sound rude because not only I don’t know these techniques but also I translate it from Russian in my head which sounds too serious in English. Really need to start implementing these phrases when talking to my husband and be less emotional will help a lot 😄. In future these skills will definitely help me when creating my business in the USA, I’m sure I’ll find myself in many different situations when I’ll need to be able to express myself well. Now, just need a lot of practice of these phrases. Thank you again!
