Brilliant video 😎 Throttle isn't leagal over 6kph-3.7mph lol Have you tried Fiido L3? Good on steep hills in Matlock lol

cheers. good review. i just bought one. i hope it will arrive soon. the weight of 28 kg was a downside, yes. But the price convinced me. i live in an apartment, so its good it has a removable battery, speed and distance are ok. and i hope i can put some bags for shopping on it. we will see :) i paid 411 euro for it.

I spent ages trying to find the rattle on the back. I can say it's not the battery which is really firm. The noise comes from the rear control box Under the rubber rear seat. Bit alarming really all the connections banging around in there. Has any body opened the control box?

The history of electric bikes in uk is that anything powered with a motor or an engine was subject to requiring insurance, mot, licence , registration , road tax . That is till the EU introduction of pedalec class of cycle, 250w max speed of 15.5mph so UK government was forced to introduce this with us being in eu at the time. Before that their was no powered bicycles , they were all illegal

I bought an engwe x26. It's a bit big for me but crazy fun. I was thinking about a tiny bike for around the shops instead of using a mobility scooter which are very slow. Is there anything else on the market at £500 mark. Probably not. Might buy a t14

Yes get the t14. There is a newer version out now too which is better than the one in this video. 👍

Is it possible to go uphill without pedal assist ( and what speed would it be able to do if so)? I live on the edge of the city and go to a sub urban area for work and would encountering hilly roads quite a bit and I'd probably have the pedal assist off most of the time due to the ghost peddling issue you mentioned. Thanks!

You are only ghost peddling on flat surfaces and you would need to pedal with the assist on to go uphill

@@magsfrags2020Oh sorry i mean to stop myself from ghost peddling and having to turn off the ignition each time when i get to the flatter surfaces, i wouldn't initiate peddal assist and just use the battery power throughout the journey. Hence my previous comment / question.

I’m sorry I don’t understand?? You wouldn’t ghost pedal uphill even if the assist was on? If you want to turn off the assist uphills then you have no reason to buy an e-bike. 🤣

@@magsfrags2020 some stretch of my journey would be flat road rather than uphill so rather than having to turn off the ignition to turn off pedal assist each time i have finished an uphill area and reach level flat road ( where i would then end up ghost peddling) i just wouldn't use the pedal assistant for any of the journey to avoid this problem

On “flat surfaces you can either use the throttle and not pedal or turn off the ignition and pedal manually. On hills you will always have the pedal assist on. I’m really sorry but I can’t explain it any easier. 🤷🏽

From my understanding, They are water resistant but not water proof so you should avoid deep puddles, your wellcome 😊
