Hey, this was very informative. But i wanted to ask does this come in essay questions?

Not directly but it may be an analysis or evaluation point if you’re thinking of a solution to a macroeconomic problem.

What's the difference between a Monetarist and an Austrian?

Love it how monetarists are often called the brutalists of economics because some of their applied strategies are so cut throat. Without acknowledging that there is a human side to economics and Keynesian economics does better at producing more tangible benefits short term and so increasing trust in the government to handle the crisis. No economic strategy and theory works if no one trusts your primary sources of control.

Will do, I've got about 5 left in Unit 4 and then 5 to complete in Unit 5 (which is much shorter). My self imposed deadline to be completely done is about a week or so before Paper 4 in Feb.

A new video should be up in about 24-48 hours. Then I’ll try to update the final 10 videos before Paper 4 in February.

If monetarist believes that the economy is always in equilibrium then why are we applying monetary policy to increase the prices?

Funny I grew up listening to Milton Friedman all the time on PBS. But I would definitely put myself in the Keynesian camp today. The USA government overshot things a bit in 2020 with the helicopter money, but it helped to keep folks confident in a recovery. Things were worse in 2008.
