Помню ставил альбом Enigma на самую малую громкость перед сном, открытое окно на даче, свежий воздух, лето, мысли о будущем, мечты, переживания, все было под эти божественные звуки. Хоть на часок вернуться в те времена.

Это просто невероятно, я слушаю этот альбом уже 25 лет. Это один из самых лучших альбомов Энигмы, и вообще, музыкантов ушедшего столетия. Это магия, грусть, какое-то непонятное ощущение непознанного, лёгкость, тайна, печаль и радость, такой волшебный коктейль. Слушаю, и поднимается настроение, появляется желание жить дальше ) когда мне грустно, она меня одухотворяет и даёт силы, а когда мне хорошо, она просто окрыляет.

Notice how when she gets to the woods, the colourful world a sign is drawn in the sand - S for satan. Then the owl - another symbol for satan. Then 3 figures appear - 3 - Strong's Concordance, precise linguist translation of the original hebrew and greek - word No.3 - satan. To get as big as Enigma you have to sell out to the owner of the system. 'And the whole world is in the power of the evil one'.

Finally I found this song. I was a little child when I saw this music video on TV and the beautiful song imprinted itself into my brain. I never forgot it. I've been searching for this song for over 25 years. My search has finally ended. Time to be a child again.

@@AlexandraVioletta I too searched for a long time for an anime series I saw when I was a little boy. I didn't know the name of the series so it was like searching for a needle in a haystack. I actually found the anime series's name within a year of finding this beautiful song. The series was called Thunderbirds 2086.

Конец девяностых, мне нету и 20-ти., лучшая композиция для меня, я просто улетал от реальности слушая её... Прошло 23 года всё это время менялись вкусы, группы, музыкальные направления, но Энигма слушалась всегда как в первый раз. Как в том 97-м, когда мне не было и 20 ти... Энигма - это состояние души для многих людей...

I feel songs like this have a deep spiritual meaning. i think the artist and writers knew what they were doing when they made this...very primordial and nothing comes closer to what an actual dream feels like. both the visuals and the song it's self. ENIGMA - THE KINGS OF NEW AGE Enigma is a German musical project founded in 1990 by Romanian-German musician and producer Michael Cretu. Cretu had released several solo records, collaborated with various artists, and produced albums for his then-wife, German pop singer Sandra, before he conceived the idea of a new-age, worldbeat project. He recorded the first Enigma studio album, MCMXC a.D. (1990), with contributions from David Fairstein and Frank Peterson. The album remains Enigma's most successful, helped by the international hit single "Sadeness (Part I)", which sold twelve million units alone. According to Cretu, the inspiration for the creation of the project came from his desire to make a kind of music that did not obey "the old rules and habits" and presented a new form of artistic expression with mystic and experimental components. Enigma followed MCMXC a.D. with a series of albums that involved several musicians and producers working with Cretu. The first was The Cross of Changes (1993), which incorporated tribal and ethnic influences and sold over eight million copies worldwide, followed by Le Roi Est Mort, Vive Le Roi! (1996), which blended the Gregorian chants reminiscent of the first album with the strong intercultural soundscapes present in the second. Enigma's fourth album The Screen Behind the Mirror (2000) started a slight departure from the previous world music themes towards a heavier electronic atmosphere. This evolution culminated with Voyageur (2003), its fifth and more pop-based album, and A Posteriori (2006), a work inspired by the future collision between the Milky Way and Andromeda galaxies, with distinct operatic tones and an electronic spectrum closer to Voyageur than the earlier releases. Seven Lives Many Faces (2008) followed and contained a mixture of classical and modern elements ranging from ethnic chants to rap and dubstep influences. Its eighth album, The Fall of a Rebel Angel, was released in November 2016. Enigma has sold over 8.5 million RIAA-certified albums in the US and an estimated 70 million worldwide with over 100 gold and platinum certifications. The project has also received three Grammy Award nominations. And I have the great honor of having in my discography the six studio albums, as well as the first compilation, in physical format, CD, of this musical project led by the charismatic and main mentor, Michael Cretu. As I mentioned, the six albums in physical format, CD. So I have three copies of MCMXC a. D. (1990), two limited editions, released in 1991, containing the four remixes of the album's four singles, the standard edition originally released in 1990, containing the seven tracks. So I still have three copies of the second album, released in 1993, THE CROSS OF CHANGES. The following is a copy of the third studio album, LE ROI EST MORT, VIVE LE ROI! (1996), a copy of the excellent fourth studio album, THE SCREEN BEHIND THE MIRROR (2000). I still have a copy of the compilation, LSD: LOVE SENSUALITY DEVOTION - THE GREATEST HITS (2001). I still have a copy of Enigma's latest work, released in 2016, THE FALL OF A REBEL ANGEL (2016). Altogether there are ten studio albums! Le Roi Est Mort, Vive Le Roi! (French for "The King Is Dead, Long Live The King!") is the third studio album by the German musical project Enigma, released on 22 November 1996 by Virgin Records. The album reached to the top spot in Norway and the top five in Austria, Finland, Germany and Switzerland. It spawned two singles, "Beyond the Invisible" and "T.N.T. for the Brain". A planned third single, "The Roundabout", was scrapped at the last minute for unclear reasons, even though a remix had already been created by DJ Quicksilver. The album continued Enigma's trend, giving it a slightly more modern, futuristic sound by combining the elements of Enigma's first album, MCMXC a.D., and their second album, The Cross of Changes. Michael Cretu, producer of the project, considered Le Roi Est Mort, Vive Le Roi! to be the child of the previous two albums, with the first being the father and the second being the mother, as indicated by the 19‑second track "Third of Its Kind". There are two editions of the packaging; one with standard paper artwork, and another with translucent tray and booklet artwork printed on a heavier plastic. The intro track begins with a sample of mission control contacting the Discovery from the film 2001: A Space Odyssey. The intro, including the famed "Enigma horn", is played backwards for the closing track, "Odyssey of the Mind". The track "T.N.T. for the Brain" contains samples taken from Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds. The samples are just audible, underlying the main music. They can be most clearly heard at the start and the end of the track, but are just noticeable throughout.

I love this. It's wow.The interpretation of it and the video is the girl puts on her headphones and escapes into her imagination. It's what I do too. My imagination is another universe that only I can see, feel safe in, and anything can happen. A fantasy or dream the world will only see little glimpses of as I choose to love and create and it becomes real through artistic means, art, dance, music, invention, stories etc etc. To blur the lines of reality and fantasy and connect these two universes. The song could be interpreted another way, but that's what it means to me.

Энигма это просто икона! в начале 90 х она произвела фурор в музыке и дала толчок многим группам в этом стиле!

Ну ок и например?! Назови хоть одну, которая была бы хотя-бы близко к топовым чартам ну или хотя-бы не была группой однодневкой на один хит?! Не можешь?! То то же! Нету у Энигмы аналогов! Увы...Эра не в счёт у них немного другое направление, А Грегориан так и вовсе перепевкой песен занимаются всю карьеру на манашеский лад...

Дип Форест угу угу...ну и какие у них "хиты"?? Boheme?! Или может быть Sweet Lullaby?! Ржунимагу!! Ахах...Они не то чтобы с Энигмой несравнимы, а они вообще разных стилей! У одних специфический такой электронный этнос а у других не имеющих аналогов релаксирующий техно трип-хоп! Их сравнивать между собою это как сравнивать Тото Котунью и Модерн Толкин...вроде и те и другой поют душевные песни...ну в общем надеюсь намёк понят! Прежде чем писать чепуху уважаемый неплохо бы погуглить музыкальные стили и попробовать в них хорошенько разобраться! А не грести все проэкта обширного жанра - Нью Эйдж по одну гребёнку!...Так что как-то так...

@@Summon256 Вы забыли про легендарный проект Gregorian? Вы думаете Франк Петерсон прямо сам его придумал? Он когда-то работал клавишником на первых записях Сандры вместе с М.Крету. Влияние Энигма слышно невооруженным ухом, хотя философия у обоих проектов, конечно, отличается. А как же проект Аметистиум? Ничуть не хуже Энигмы и очень известен в среде поклонников серьёзной электроники и нью-эйдж музыки. Легендарная Era. Это же чистой воды ответвление Энигма. Советую также послушать великолепный японский проект Uttara-kuru, если никогда не слышали о таком - продюсерский дуэт Сейити Кёда и Кадзумасы Ёсиока - более чем достойное ответвление Энигмы из Японии. Для меня это было открытием года, когда я наткнулся на Uttara-Kuru и другие проекты лейбла Pacific Moon Records. Музыка просто фантастическая! Они точно так же как и Крету смешивают современные музыкальные формы с традиционной музыкой Японии, разной этникой, буддистским пением/чтением сутр и мантр. Всё это звучит не менее великолепно, чем Энигма. Я уверен, сам Крету был бы в восторге, а вполне возможно, что он давно знает об этом проекте. Также рекомендую познакомиться с сайд-проектами Сейити Кёда - F.A.B и HAE. Всё можно найти на том же лейбле Pacific Moon Records.

This whole video is literally like when we have dreams that we try to explain when we wake up because they were so vivid and magical but we have trouble remembering and explaining certain details because it was so obscure
