@KillaCamRon36010 жыл бұрын
The song isn't random chanting, it is from the indigenous tribe of Amis from Taiwan, the translation is as follows : "My dear friends and relatives who come from far away! Thanks for coming to see us! Come! Let's sit together. We will sing for you, As you sang for us when we visited you before Let's sing while we drink. How much we sing is how much we drink "

I remembered this from enigmas usage of the sample. For a minute I thought it was native american. But its still indigenous to somewhere, and its beautiful and takes me.back to my childhood hearing this.
@cristinaj22233 ай бұрын
Enigma stole this to sample thinking it was in the public domain and didn’t pay the couple who chant in this. I know they sued them and got their money and I hope it was A LOT because this chant is why that song was so good.

Fun Fact: The chant is from a tribe from Taiwan. A hymn sung at parties like weddings. This is a word for world translation to english: To my hommies and family, who came all this way! It's a blast you took the trip! Come! Let's chillax. We will jam for you, as you jammed for us when we hung out at your crib. Let's rapbattle while we drink. in a way you are not wrong...Native Americans are descendants of Austronesian tribes in Taiwan...the first, if I'm not mistaken is the Inuit Natives in Alaska. I live on Guam and the indigenous people, like myself, are Austronesian and was one of the first to people to find land after the great migration.
@Stevesrssrssrs9 жыл бұрын
***** That is true, but after 25,000 years in a new land, they lost the typical Asian eye thing, and their features changed a little bit from Asians, enough to where they are considered an entirely different race. I don't know if that holds true for the Inuit & Eskimo, but it certainly does for the Native Americans of most of North & South America.
