Enigma State is a project from Manchester-based Nathan Stealey. The E.S. concept rolls back the clock to the pre-VST days when Trance producers used hardware to create their music. It was a different world back then, and the classic instruments, FX, sequencers & production tricks employed by Nathan create a particular ‘sound’ which is synonymous with late nineties trance.
We welcome Nathan back to NEON with another helping of 90’s inspired 138bpm trance music, this time with subtle ‘echoes’ of the classic ‘Gamemaster’, courtesy of a neat filmic spoken sample, acidic twittering & some hearty Korg-esque choir pads, This record should please older classic trance fans & also hopefully find an audience among the new trance generation.
