Beignets are a staple of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter and now that the resort has reopened it's time for beignets! Everything Mickey Mouse shaped tastes better and you'd think we were at Disneyland eating them in New Orleans Square with how good these are at Walt Disney World!

Disney Dining, The Beignets must have been more than good Craig just about bathed in all 3. The only part of him that was'nt covered in iceing sugar was his cap. Cheers, Chris Perry.

@@DisneyDining 😂I was in DL a week ago (visiting from OR) and had some- shook the bag and a giant puff of powdered sugar. Perfection. Thought of you and Ryno. Glad you got some in Florida. 😉

craig, you are fine in calling them “doughnuts.” i say that because cafe du monde in new orleans sells their beignet mix and they put “french doughnuts” on the front of that box. so, i guess if people take offense with you calling them doughnuts, they should take offense with the beignet capital of the country/world as well! happy to see they are back, looking forward to having some in a few weeks!

I just had to get out ahead of the comments in case someone came in saying they aren’t doughnuts. I know they’re ever so slightly different but it’s like trying to say a cake doughnut and not cake, but it’s clearly cake. What a world we live in.

I had the Beignets at Disneyland, loved them but haven't tried the ones at Port Orleans, hmmmmm don't know why we just have never made it there. I will put it on my list of things to do the next trip to Disney.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard you so happy about sugar! I’m DVC but FQ and Grand Destino are my favorite moderates-and good food as well!

Team bag all the way. It distributes the powder sugar and makes it stick better to the beignets. If the resort still does the painting class try and talk Ryno into it.

Enjoyed this review. Louisiana girl here, never ate beignets with anything but the powdered sugar. I can see the dipping sauces being good but I only want to dunk them in the New Orleans traditional cafe au lait, super strong chicory coffee with hot milk, no sugar.

I mean what a job!!! What I would give to review the Beignets.. I would be in heaven! I cant wait to go back to PO to get them on our December trip and am excited to see there is a variety of flavours this time around! I want to try the alcohol ones and the classic as usual but with dipping sauces! I only ever tried plain before in PO WDW and Disneyland (wish they would bring Mint Juleps to WDW its the perfect compliment!)

wow - Craig for that price I thought those would be tiny - but they certainly weren't. I'm not much of a "doughnut" person - but those beignets look good. Thanks for the video - loved it. 😁

The take-out line at DownTown Disney is usually way too long so I haven’t had a beignet in ages. Will have to brave the line next time I’m there. They look delicious. And I’ll get the caramel dipping sauce. A must try. Delicious review.

New Orleans beignets never had a dipping sauce. What in the world. Yes, they MUST be hot! Obviously I am too traditional for these food options. But I do enjoy seeing you have good experiences for your dining reviews.

Nicely done as always Craig. thanx. POFQ is one of my fave places to stay on property, regardless of price point, because of the small footprint, and the gorgeous theming and grounds. Also LOVE taking the boat on the Sassagoula. When I used to come down annually, I'd try to get there at lest once a trip to have a mufuletta sandwich, and beignets! I also MISS Bonfamille's, the table-service, which is LONG gone - they used to have the BEST black skillet breakfasts, and instead of toast or muffins for a "bread basket", they'd bring a basket of piping hot beignets!!! YUMMMMM!!!! Sorry - but I think a dipping sauce would ruin these, and make them WAAAAAY too sweet. And I agree with a poster below who said - you HAVE to get them freshly-made (just like zeppolis!!)
