Hello Sir , this is Chhavi Shukla from India . Im a commercial artist from Lucknow arts college , up, India pass out year 1989 . But im a very poor artist but since ive followed ive gotten a real glimse of what actually art is.. Actually i always wanted an art teacher my entire life which alas i never found one but since i started getting your videos in my suggestions ive had tremendous changes within me , my art and my techniques... I have learned more, and progressed more learning from you than from any other KZfaq channel on how to paint watercolor. Like you, I've been drawing since I was a kid, and began painting a while ago with Donna Dewberry. Growing tired of that type of painting, I wanted to venture more in to fine arts. It’s been a real joy to watch and hear you teach the different techniques in watercolor painting. I love to draw since I was a little kid, then life happens. My passion was put in the back burner. Lately, I’ve been watching a lot on KZfaq about arts, from oil, pastels,acrylic and watercolor. Watercolor painting was so frustrating to me but you showed how easy and fun it can be. Thanks for sharing . As an emigrant myself I do related to your story. I came to US when I was 42 years old and, worked in different jobs until I was able to work in my profession as a Social Worker. Never paint before. After I retired I started develop interest in painting. I am 70 years old now and being painting for a year. You are an amazing artist. I’ve been learning a lot with your. I have always been drawn to watercolours.... Followed quite a few artists and their tutorials... But it wasn't till ago found your channel that I actually start painting...your simplicity of tools (3 colours and two brushes) with very consistent techniques of creating anything is something that made it doable for me... I am trying to work towards being able to join your classes one day soon to express my appreciation and support ... Great journey! For me I started drawing since I was eight years old, I drew from magazines, TV, books, I never thought that I want to be an illustrator or something like this, I just started it because I loved it, Now 16 years later, I still have the same feelings. I don't want to be a painter copying pasting things or people perfectly, I just want to draw in a way makes me feel happy. He will answer by revealing Himself to you as He did to me. The big Treasure is for the one that humbles and listens quietly to his heart without the noise of other people’s opinion, and keeps pursuing the Treasure boldly till he/she finds it.
